Hey everyone... I hope you remember me! Sorry I've disappeared for a while... after my last cycle and loss, I guess I just needed some time to re-group. I haven't come on here in quite a while, and feel like I have so much to catch up on! I haven't read through all the old posts yet, but I hope everyone is doing well...

I am currently in the middle of IVF #2... I am on my 4th day of stimulation meds, my next ultrasound and bloodwork are Fri morning, and retrieval and transfer should be next week sometime. I am both excited and very nervous to be doing this again. Trying to stay hopeful but afraid to have too much hope. Just taking it one day at a time for now!

Anyway, hope you don't mind me barging back in. But I could really use the support, and you ladies are some of the best support I know. Looking forward to catching up with everyone

Kore- 1 spot of endo? Was it bad? Did they grade it?
Good luck trying naturally! And with all that you've been doing to preserve/restore fertility will do the trick. Dr. Oz was talking about how to increase ferility and the #1 rule is to increase lean muscle/loss weight. And #2 is to take omega 3s.
They r in the process of terminating her rights as it is a long process. And the r gathering records and docs to prove their claims of incompetency. Then when all that is done, they must present it b4 a judge for a ruling. They r certain the judge will rule in their favor. But it seems that until then they r each permitted 2 visits/wk with the child. Once right have been terminated, there will be no contact.
I'm kinda upset that the "supervised" visitation wasn't really supervised.
Yup, long wait for the dna.

Donna- I guess being overly cautious isn't a bad thing about fb pics.
Biomom keeps going on about thrush in hopes that they will return the baby to her. I don't think she knows the state's plans to terminate her rights. I dont think she knows that tania is in a preadoptive home either according to the psych. I think the thrush is gone anyway, we have a dr appt with tania in the a.m. to confirm. Helps to document and dismiss bio-crackhead-moms baseless concerns.

Nelly- good luck stimming. How was ur 1st u/s? Lots of afc's?

Sorry I've been MIA...it's been crazy around here even though DH and I are both on vacation this week.

Donna - I'm so sorry you won't be able to cycle again as soon as you'd like. When do you think you'll get to start Lupron?

Molly - Good luck on your upcoming cycle!!!!

Nelly - Welcome back!! Day 4 of stims...woo hoo!!!!!

Lynn - Biomom sounds like a real headcase. I'm glad they're not really listening to what she says. As for the pics...always better safe than sorry keeping them off the internet. We had an adorable video of Leah when she first started babbling and I was all set to put it up on FB but she was just in a diaper and DH wouldn't let me put it up because he said you never know who will end up getting their hands on it and there are so many perverts out there. I hadn't even thought about it like that before! So sad that we have to think that way. I'm so glad to hear that things are going so well with Tania

Lynn - It sounds like very stressful process. But I can't believe the bio-mom stole from med & cloth from the bag...that's just sooo wrong!!! Tania is blessed to have you guys as parents. I hope bio-p get their rights terminated soon so that you can relax & enjoy your lives together.

Donna - I know...it would be so nice to cycle with someone...specially since it's a long one. About Lupron - it looks like I will be taking it for 9 days...it's little bit confusing. It says I will start on 19th, 20th & 21st day of this cycle and then continue taking it until I get my period and then day 2 & day 3 LUpron evulation. I will be going to RE office next week & then clarify all these things.

Nelly - yaayyye you are already on Day of Stims. How is the progress? I am in same boat...doing IVF#2. Mine is little longer...this month on BCP and then will start Lupron & then Stimming. Good luck!

Kore - It's good that you are trying on your own! You worked very hard with exercise, yoga, accupunture etc to keep your body healthy. I am sure all this will pay off.

Heather - thanks. Lucky you...Where are you on vacation?

AFM - I just hate this BCP...I am having really hard time staying awake...plus tired all the time. Bloated & what not. Do you guys know what can help with this? I soooo want to take coffee or tea...but my accupuncturist said...no caff for me.

Lynn - While I'm sorry you have to go through this, I must say that I'm not surprised by Tania's mom's actions at all. Unfortunately, this happens all of the time in these situations - I know this is horribly stressful on you, but you just have to ignore her and don't let her comments get to you. You know the truth and what's up and you are the best provider for Tania. The mom will end up terminating her rights in the end - these situations always end like that - it's just a matter of when and what you have to go through to get yourself there. Just continue to stay strong w/ DH and don't let the stress come between you b/c she is not worth it. As for biodad, I'm keeping every finger and toe crossed that he's not really Tania's dad!

Kore - I'm so happy to hear that everything looks great - your body is truly prepared for that baby now! Have you tried taking DHEA to help w/ your egg quality during your naturally TTC phase?

    Nelly - Good luck!

Heather - That's an adorable picture of your DD!

Molly - Hopefully this will be the last time you ever have to be on these blasted BCPs! Maybe increasing your water intake will help w/ the energy and bloatedness?

Molly - Do you take your bcps at night or the am? Taking them at night can help with side effects. I would have a coffee! It is perfectly fine to have 1 cup of coffee/tea a day.

Heather - Thanks, I start lupron next Thurs and they will keep me on it longer before starting stims. They did the same last cycle.

    Nelly - Good luck!

Molly - We're just home on vacation...nothing too fun but relaxing! We're both teachers and have the week off.

    Fer - Thanks

Donna - Oh good! Hopefully the time will fly once you start the Lupron!

Donna / Fer - thanks for suggestion. I do drink lots of water. But I have been taking BCP around noon. And everyday about 2-3pm, I get this crazy urge to sleep like my eyes are burning. It doesn't help with my work. I will switch it to night from tom. I am trying not to touch caffine. But if it gets worse, I will have 1 cup of coffee (so tempting).

Heather - Enjoy your time off. I love this kind of vacation when both of us are home relaxing. I did get few days like that last week, when east coast was snowed out :-).

Fer - How is the little myrtle doing? Are you guys thinking of a name yet?

Just out of curiosity, what's the risk of travelling in your late first trimester or early second trimester? I mean international travelling like (18-21 hrs in flight)? Has anyone had experience with that?

nelly - hello and welcome back. best of luck on this cycle. glad you and donna are close enough to be cycle buddies.

lw - my OB doesn't stage, but it wasn't that bad. it was just about 1cm by 1 cm big, i have a picture if you want to see i did have another area that wasn't endo, but was discolored and inflammatory type tissue, so they took that out too. very strange how your body can just produce these weird things for no apparent reason. ... as for your situation, i just keep hoping that it will all turn out in your favor. how stressful!!! and omg, the system just seems so cumbersome.

hkbuck - love the pic of your little girl. she's so cute. hope you are enjoying your vacation.

molly - thanks! good luck w/ your cycle. sorry that you can't have caffeine. but it will be worth it in the end. i gave it up and i feel AMAZING! i do miss it and let myself have a bit once in a while.. but for now, i feel like its worth giving it up.

fer - hello! thanks for the support. i gave up on DHEA. i didn't like how my body was acting on it. i believe my egg quality is fantastic!! i just have a feeling we are dealing with inflammation issues and implantation. and i have to listen to my gut in this, ya know? we'll see how it goes.. for now, its nice to not have the pressure of an IVF cycle

    pg mentioned

lynn - OMG!! She stole stuff from the bag? Wtf are the "supervisors" doing at that visit - my dh is a SWorker and supervises visits, no way that happens at his agency, someone isn't doing his or her job!!! And what the heck is she doing photographing Tania's private parts? For what? Diaper rash? She needs to worry about herself a little more, perhaps not doing drugs with her fetus growing in her might have been the way to care. Ugh!! Sorry it is stressful, but we are here to curse right with you.

kore - I am doing well! I went to Yoga tonight, you would be so proud I am trying to take care of my health (ok fine, I had a cheeseburger with avocados and bbq sauce for lunch... did I mention it was HUGE, lol). I am sooooo glad to hear you are doing well and that everything looks beautiful!

nelly - hey!! welcome back so good to see you on here!! barging? get out of town, that doesn't exist, you are a part of the group mamacita! We are all rooting for you!!

donna - I hated lupron, so you are a trooper. I hope Lucas is doing well

molly - the only risk is circulatory - make sure you get up and walk around a bunch during the flight - also, immunizations if you are traveling that far and bug spray so you don't get bitten by anything with yuckies

    fer & heather - hellooooo!
