Linds - 36 weeks! You're doing awesome, but I'm sure you're ready for it to be done with. Keep us posted on your progress. When is your next appt?
Hoping - The anatomy scan is so great, even though it's difficult to tell what you're looking at some of the time. It's just amazing seeing all the different parts. Enjoy it!
Country - Your Christmas day post made me so sad. I'm sorry you were feeling lonely. At least this will be your last lonely Christmas for a long time. Next year you will have Babette to spoil. Maybe your parents will get more into it too with the baby. I'm glad you're feeling good. I haven't really gotten the energy I would have liked, but I feel a thousand times better than the first trimester. This one has been going along nicely. I have felt the nesting urge, but it's kind of difficult when we don't know where we'll be living for sure.
Bos - So great to hear from you! I'm glad you're doing well and getting to take advantage of the elastic band pants that are so great. 4th floor walk up sounds like a lot of work with a baby. Maybe if you have DH do all the carrying up and down for awhile he'll change his mind. Fingers crossed that ours works out. We're at the beginning stages of the process now.
SarahO - Congrats on your new position! I really hope it's not as stressful as your current job after your settled. The timing sounds like it's going to be perfect for you for the next cycle. I can imagine it is very tough on you to be still dealing with IF and of course a BFN is never ever easy. Just hang in there. I have a great feeling about you using DE and I'm so looking forward to celebrating your BFP in the near future.
Lanie - That video was so great! It brought tears of joy to my eyes. What a wonderful memory to have and share with your little one. So so happy for you!
Want2be - So glad you have another cycle coming up and that you let us know. Keep us in the loop and let us know your schedule.
VA - How are you doing? Any morning sickness?
Galpaz - How's your little baby boy doing? I love the pics. Keep em coming!
We made it back to NYC from Missouri last night. Wasn't too bad, only 2 hours delayed. The trip was so great and my family and friends had a baby shower for us on Monday night. It was great to see so many people I haven't seen in so long. Everyone is so excited for us. It's actually starting to feel real. The babies are pretty active these days too which helps put my mind at ease. I did get some terrible news yesterday. A friend of mine who went to the same clinic as us, got pregnant with triplets at the same time we got pregnant with twins. We've been cheering each other along week by week, but unfortunately she went into preterm labor yesterday and lost all the babies. I'm devastated for her and her DH. I wish there was something I could do, but I think talking to me just makes it worse. So please say some prayers for them.
We have a growth u/s tomorrow morning. I'll let you know how it goes. I'm getting big so I'm sure they are too!

Had my appt today and there really wasn't much change. I am about 2.5cm dilated and 80% effaced. My OB told me that if I make it to my next appt at 37 weeks on Jan 6th that he is comfortable scheduling an induction. Today at my u/s both babies looked good - the girl's estimated weight was 5lb 10oz and the boy was 5lb 13oz so I definitely have a lot of baby in there! I feel like they are a good size - I am SOOOO ready to deliver! My OB also said there was no reason for me to be working anymore SO my last day of work is going to be Jan 3rd at the latest!
Also - I put a 36 week belly shot in my profile that my co-worker took of me today. I HATE HATE HATE pictures of myself, but enjoy

linds.... hang in there..... anyday now.... 37 weeks is a fabulous..full term for twins...
your bump looks fabulous... a lovely basketball or 2....
cant wait to see the pics of the twins....
NMS....bet you are glad to be home snuggled in your own bed..... good luck for your scan tomorrow...I hope you can hang off finding the sex...lol..lol...
Sorry to hear about your friends loss with triplets...it must have been absolutely devistating... how terrible. You will be able to get past the worry soon.... once you get past around 26 weeks its all a downhill slide and you will get confident with every week....
Im hoping that my parents will be a little better when babette is born....time will tell...
I hope you all have a great thurs
I had a busy day with driving for over an hour for a 10min appointment with my OB(boss) not my usual OB... sigh... it was one of those days that could have waited until next week when I am back at work...
I battled tourists and feral horrible children all day, crazy drivers on the roads and ended up just being a cranky crazy pregnant women whom felt sick and had a sore back... Im sure that my poor nights sleep had a lot to do with it...
Hoping I get a reasonable sleep tonight.....and feel a lot better tomorrow....

NMS - glad your trip home went ok and the baby shower sounds great. Time with family is always special. Let us know how things go today. So sorry to hear about your friend's loss - devastating for sure.
Country - hope you had a better sleep and your back is less sore today.
AFM, I will try to get a belly pic on Sunday - 16 weeks already! Have my monthly follow up on Monday and am sure I've gained a couple of pounds over the holiday. Still feeling very tired - much more so than the 1st trimester. I think he must be growing a ton. Both DH and I are off work tomorrow - yaay for another long weekend!Me: 38; DH: 42

hoping...waiting for that belly shot...!!...lol....yep the tiredness is a bugger... I think I felt the tiredest at around 25-30 weeks....
hope that your next OB appointment goes really well...
NMS.... hows that gorgeous belly of yours going??.... great weights for the uss...so glad it went all great....
linds... just waiting waiting waiting...... the worst 2ww ....
lanieh... hows life for you ....our newest momma... any morning sickness?? or will you be lucky like me and dodge that...??
VA..... hope you are enjoying being a yummy mummy.
Sarah0... this is your year... you will be cycling in less than 8-12weeks....and pregnant ..all the good karma everyone is sending you.... you have to succeed with a team of pregnancy buddas rubbing their tummys for you...
well a quiet day for me..sort of....lol... I put a shelf together this morning, and finished packing the hospital bag...enough that I can leave it at the work flat now...
Babette has just not been a shaker and mover today... I was neurotic and pulled out the doppler..and she was still happy...
my OB went ok...just short... my blood pressure has been perfect the last few days..so thats a big relief.. although the OB thought that babettes head was 3/5 engaged.. (just below pelvic rami) but Im not really placing too much faith in that... will see what happens with the next apointment in 12 days.. Might con my mate to have a quick look with the uss just to be sure as to what is going on...
I was good and spent the afternoon on the couch... I managed a 1hr 1/2 nap..complete with drool..lol.. and Ive managed to drink 2litres.. so I think that has made me feel a lot better....
Its really really hot here today.... 100F down the mountain at work and 80F up the mountain which is a very hot day for us...especially for living at 4600ft above sealevel !!!
Its new years eve and the fireworks in sydney are all gearing up... Ill have a very quiet NYE... at home probably watching TV... and bed... I might go for a walk when it cools down a bit...
now all I need is some nice kicks from babette to make me feel better...
might go and have some watermellon....
I hope you all have some great NYE plans...country girl 44yrs

Happy New Year ladies! I hope we all have the best year ever! So hard to believe this thread was started a year ago. I'm so happy I found all of you on this thread and that we've been here to support each other. I'm looking forward to celebrating the day when all of us have obtained the thing we want the most.
I got another nasty cold for New Years so I've been on the sofa most of the day. Hope to feel better by Monday so I can breathe when I walk.
Hoping - love the little belly bump. Can't wait to see it grow!
Bosbaby - Looking forward to your belly shots!
Country - The warm weather sounds lovely, but I'm starting to get a lot warmer than I used to, so I'm happy to be preggo in the cold weather. You are so close to being a momma. These next few weeks will go fast. Glad the doppler eased your mind. My mom gave us a prenatal heart listener as a present. It says you can't hear the hb until the third tri, but I love listening to the kicks when they're active.
