Well in Missouri now. we had Xmas at my dad's last night and at my mom''s this morning. It's been great and everyone is so excited about the babies. Full schedule until we go back to NY on Tuesday. House inspection went very well before we left. On to the next step now. Gotta get a nap before our next family get together tonight. Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas to my online family.

well its christmas morning here.... not much to report a windy warm sunny day.
who would have thought that 12 months ago when we all joined this thread and became a family that most of us would be pregnant... what a wonderful end to a year that has not been easy and full of tears, dissappointments, medical scares. It has certainly made it all much easier knowing that we all have each other. I hope that we can keep chatting and growing together for many years to come.

Me myself and I are having crossiants for breaky topped off with a delicious decaff coffee...mmmmmm (I try and envisage real coffee). Another restful day for me... trying my hardest to not think about it being christmas day and alone... Ill probably be tidying and washing.... and secretly hoping my parents remember to ring...sometimes they don't..... they have weird attitudes towards christmas and birthdays with me... its like I dont exsist.... but my brother they always fuss over... sigh... cant pick your relatives I suppose..... always hardest on christmas when you are alone and know that the idea of your parents wanting to spend it with you is so far out of their thoughts that its hovering around pluto...
anyway enough of that.... its going to be another normal day for me thats my mantra.... Im not going to get upset at my parents... ..... I need a boyfriend with a lovely family....Ill have to put that one on santas list....hohohoho

Dear Ladies

I am wishing you all wonderful Holidays!
This is such a great group and my heart is with all of you. I am so happy and proud for so many pregnancies. So many girls in our group are mommies now, how great is that ! Miracles happen and I am definitely counting on one. I have been mic but lurking here and there and cheering you all. Me and my husband still don't know what to do, should we try IVF again, use the egg donor or to adopt. Perhaps soon I'll be mailing Sara O reg. ED. Our closets plan is a trip to Brazil in Feb.

well I had another productive day yesterday....sort of...lol.lol... I was given this most gorgeous organic cotton crib blanket by one of my favourite patients... so I washed that..its so lovely and soft...then spent the entire morning looking for the bolts to put the cot together.... it was a little frantic and lets just say that my bedroom is much more sorted now.....lol... of course it was in a drawer that I had already looked in 3 x... I had this vision of the baby arriving and no cot...lol...so that will get put together next week sometime..
Ive finally finished knitting the jumper for babette...although it is more like a 12month size..not sure what the pattern was thinking with measurements...just got to sew it together, Ive started a lovely soft baby size one as well... oh and finished a devine little beanie... Ill have to post a pic soon...
So another quiet day....some knitting.... got to get into the tax... bummer that I have to do it every 3 months.....sigh...might go for a walk as well...
I noticed that my blood pressure went up a tad this week.... eek... Im hoping that it is just because I am home... but its always a worry with pre-eclampsia sitting over my head... I see the OB on thursday so we will see what it is like... must remember to write them all down.....
Anyway another lovely bluebird day in the mountains... crisp and fresh... its about 60F and lovely....prob get to 65F today....

I am constantly checking in on everyone and am just thirlled with all the good news that came in around the holidays! Such a great way to end the year

I had an OB appt last Thursday and was 2cm dialated and 80% effaced. I am HOPING that means I won't still be preggo Jan 13th to have an induction scheduled. I know you just can't predict these things with any accuracy so I am just sitting here ridiculously uncomfortable with my swollen fingers crossed!
