Need a cycle buddy!

My egg retreival is set for Sept. 28th!!!!! I am looking for someone who will be able to walk me through all of this and be there if i have questions. This is my first cycle and i am getting a bit nervous! I dont even know when i start my meds yet! all i was told is that its set for the 28th!

MrsM - although I am not doing an IVF in September I would be more than happy to answer any questions you have. Additionally, you might want to join the IVF board they usually have cycle groups over there and once they have some of their members pregnant and other who are cycling they tend to move to this board or other boards around. I can be your cycle buddy! Although I am scheduled in August, estimated ER 8/19, ET 8/24. Your RE will explain when to start all the meds and such. I start the injections on 8/9. I am really nervous to start the meds..... This is our very first procedure. We did not even try IUI since my DH's count is very low. Good luck!

Hey Mrs M,

If all goes according to plan, I could be your cycle buddy. I saw my RE 2 weeks ago, and I will be doing a long protocol. I have to phone with next AF (approx 1/8), and then will start down reg on day 21 (21/8). ER will only be towards the end of Sept sometime and ET will be 1st few days of Oct. So when you have more details, give me a shout and we can way it uo then..
This will be my 3rd IVF attempt.

Hi MrsM57,

Like Trace I'm also doing a long protocol. My tentative ER is Sept 3. I've done three IUIs without success but this is my first IVF. It will be great to be able to go through this with some support.

I will be cycling in Sept. too. I am going to start BC pills when I get af (next week)...so exciting! Never thought af would be so welcome. This will be my second IVF, and I feel very good about it. I think there is a thread somewhere around here for Sept cyclers. I haven't joined it yet because I just got instructions from my clinic today. A book that helped me with my first cycle is "IVF: the wayward stork". Its a short easy read. When do you get your cycle plan?

hey ladies!! just checkin in to see how everyone is doing!! KKROSE, this week is your transfer? please keep us updated and let us know how its going!! I have an appointment on thursday to get all my meds...they said its still on for the week of sept 28th. how is everyone else doing? still on schedule? did your RE's tell you anything for preparing? i wasnt given any specific instructions on diet or activity yet.

Is this thread still alive? I'm also scheduled for a retrieval on the 28th! This is my sixth cycle...old hat. Is everything going smoothly for you so far?

Yeah sure Remy... So far so good here... your 6th cycle. Oh my hun. how do you do it. i am on my first and its brutal what happens with the body. Whats your protocol and diag?
