Looking for February IVF buddies

Anyone out there cycling in February? I'm on day 4 of my IVF cycle at Cornell in NYC (I had a failed IVF in Oct., but got 2 frozen embryos). I'm trying to take pressure off by telling myself I have 3 shots (IVF this time, & then 2 more transfers with the frozen ones) & this isn't the be-all end all, but I'm still very anxious & nervous (I just turned 33 & feel like my clock is really ticking).

Hi!

I usually don't surf this bb, but I decided to today!

I am doing my 2nd DE cycle currently.

Transfer should be around the 23rd or so of February.

You have 2 frozen and are doing another fresh cycle first, is that right?

YOUR clock is ticking!!! OMG!! I'm 37. Been ttc #1 for 6 years now!

Good luck. When is your ER/ET?

yes, I have 2 frozen & am doing a fresh cycle (my insurance pays for 4 IVF's so I wanted to take advantage of that while i still have a job). i had my er on monday & my ET is tomorrow. My ER was a bit of a nightmare - the nurse kept ramming in the IV & couldn't get it in - it hurt so much I passed out, but luckily they retrieved 7 eggs & 5 fertilized.

Good luck with your DE cycle - do you get to meet or choose the donor? You are so brave to keep on trying for 6 years - thanks for your message!

Hi,

I'm new, TTC #1 and find this board very educational, making the process easier for me. I'm waiting for my period to start on Sunday and start with IVF treatment soon after that, probably retrieval in March though.

Cornell has high success rates so you'll be celebrating very soon!! Good luck!

babyprayers - best of luck to you. we're so lucky we live in an age with all this technology available for infertility.

wasabi - thanks, i hope you're right! my last IVF in Oct. failed at Cornell so hopefully this time around it will work (although i had substantially less eggs than last time). supposedly the CCRM clinic in Colorado is the #1 clinic - they have success rates of 70% - my nurse at Cornell told me about them....

I am also starting my IVF this month. I started taking the birth control pills earlier this week and that will go on until my next period. My E/T will not be until the third week of March. Not sure if this would be considered a Feb cycle or a March cycle.

I am 39 years old, I should have heard my clock ticking but ignored it now it is so loud I'm deaf.

I have one failed IUI. And this is my first IVF.

Bella:
Too funny, I am deaf now as well!

What's you dx? If you don't mind me asking?

Best wishes on your upcoming cycle!
