Hey Jen....Thanks for continuing the thread as usual! You are great! Hope you have a great day!
Not much going on here with ttc at the moment. Still waiting to ovulate. The opk was still negative this am. I am assuming if I am going to O it should be tomorrow CD14 which is normal for me. I guess the nurse needs to know when so they can decide when to start my estrogen patches to gear my body up to make eggs for IVF next cycle. A lot for me means maybe 3 which is what we are hoping for! More would be better but probably not realistic! DS is going back to the pediatrician this am. He seems worse again and now has a fever going on and a very nasty cough to go along with it. So not sure if he is just not better or has something else on top of it. I was going to give it another day or two but the fever cannot be good. He has been on meds since Thursday so he should not have a fever now.
Good luck to those going for u/s this week. Hope you all get great news! Hello to everyone else and hope you are all well!

Wolfjack - Hoping your OB oppointment goes well today! Please post as soon as you can as we're all thinking of you.
Kendra - I hope your DS starts to feel better soon. Poor little guy has had a rough time lately...hopefully spring will arrive soon and with it no more sickness for your DS.
Jen - Thanks for starting the thread again. It sounds like that company really wants your DH, especially if they have arranged all the travel for you. Where in KY will you be going? And please don't ever apologize for unloading on us...this IF journey has brought us all so close, in matters both related to and not related at all to IF.
Cindy - I'm so sorry you're in limbo land right now. Have you thought about taking a home equity loan for another round of IVF? This way both the medical expense and the interest would be tax deductible (remember, I am a tax accountant so I can justify any expense with it being deductible).
Lil'Pixie - I am so so sorry that thing have been rough. IF truly sucks. Have you tried shopping around for the IVF drugs? The apothecary shop quoted me $2800 for all my meds, which included lupron, follistim, and menopur. I think Freedom Infertility Drugs is supposed to be even cheaper.
April - Hope all goes well with your preop tomorrow!
Its finally warmed up down here, and I'm loving it. Yesterday I sat outside by the pool reading and it felt so good to have the sun on my face. I'm trying to find things to keep me distracted, as I'm so worried about tomorrow's u/s, but I'm not being to successful. Oh well, less than 24 hours to go.

wolfjack and emma: hope all goes well with appts. today and tomorrow.
Jenn.. Thanks for keeping us going.
April... Good luck with surgery and hopes for a speedy recovery (and well deserved good results).
Kendra... hope all is going well and you should demand a day of no responsiblity as you both are in this (raising son) together right???
Pixie..So sorry about results, take alll the time you need. We all need that time to get back after a trial like this...
Others.. hope all is going well!

Jenn - Thanks for the new thread. I hope you're not working too hard today considering it's Monday and all.
Kendra - You're right, the fever should be gone by now if he's been taking the medicine that long. Maybe he just needs a stronger dose? I hope he doesn't have a virus on top of it now too.
Emma - I am looking to refinance in April and am trying to keep my credit as clear and as low key as possible until then. I must admit I am rather challenged when it comes to keeping my finances straight. I pay everything when it's suposed to be paid, have a decent understanding how credit works but that's about it. I don't supose it's tax deductible to put those expenses into a refi - or would it be better to take a loan after the refi is completed? I hope you can keep yourself distracted til tomorrow, although I am sure everything will be fine. Looking forward to your update.

Cindy - If you refinance your house, all the interest will be tax deductible (as mortgage interest). You can also deduct any points you pay. Any medical bills you pay during the year will also be tax deductible (well, those in excess of 7.5% of your adjusted gross income...let me know what type of return you file, i.e. 1040, 1040EZ, 1040A, etc, and I'll tell you what line on the return that is), regardless of where the money comes from to pay for them. Even if you put the medical bills on your credit card and don't pay it off, you still get to deduct the medical bills in the year you incurred them. The other option to refinancing is a home equity loan, and that interest is also tax deductible. Hope this helps.

Hi everyone!
Emma - Sending good luck for tomorrow's u/s. Everything will be fine.... DH and I will be going to Nicholasville, Ky. Even if this doesn't work out, we are both looking forward to getting out of MI for a few days.... It was so warm here today. It got up to 62 today which is nuts.... We are usually down in the teens this time of year but I definitely love the warmer temps.
wolf - how was your appt today? Hope everything went well.
cc1231 - Have you thought about looking to IntegraMed? They finance IVF and sent up reasonable payment plans. I know that if we change clinics, I will probably apply.
massagetoad - how are you feeling?
April - Don't you go in tomorrow for you're preop? Good luck, I hope all goes well. Also, hope both you and DP are doing well.
As for me, today was a o.k. day for a Monday. I didn't really have the drive to work though. So, to vent a tad here, there is this girl that my boss hired over the summer and her reputation followed her. She was fired from her last job because she got caught having sex w/ her boss. Well, this girl has been nothing but a hand full, starting all kinds of crap throughout the office. We are a small office and everyone got along great until she came around. Well, the point to this is that this girl has a little boy who is not even a year old, she drinks like crazy, smokes and on top of all that I know **** well she is doing drugs because she has lost probably 20# since she started and looks like she weighs about 80# and she asks like a skitzer. Well, they have finally decided to fire her and it was supposed to happen today. So I will find out tomorrow when I go in but, before I left, I found out that she is pregnant again. I swear if my jaw hitting the floor could have made a sound it would have.... I just don't get it! Why would God give a child to someone like that and not all of us.... Go figure! So, sorry but that just irks me. Other then that, if this thing in KY works out and we move, we will end up having to do TX in Cincinnati or Louisville, Ky. Will have to wait and see. Well girls, I am so tired and really need to go bed.

Just a quick post as I am getting ready to take DS on a playdate.
Jen..I hear you on the weather! We were outside most of the afternoon yesterday and I did not even have a coat on! I am so enjoying it! I am a warm weather person definately not meant to live in New England that's for sure! So sorry to hear about the work situation! I totally do not understand the reasoning behind giving babies to people like that and not to those who truly want them. Life is just so freaking unfair sometimes and makes no sense! Hang in there!
Ok well I hope everyone else is doing well. We are heading out shortly so I have to go get myself and DS together. We may head down to the playground at the beach later on too. DS has been asking to go there for a few days now! Might as well while the warm weather is here. It is supposed to get to 60 tomorrow! YEAY!!!!
