Those of you with school age kids that do sleep overs, does your child have trouble getting to sleep at a decent time? DS stayed up till 1 am when we thought he and his friend were asleep at 11. The friend was out and DS looked sleepy, but then he stayed up. Sunday and Monday were just an absolute mess. DS could barely function, ie. get himself dressed, do simple math page, set the table, just your basic chores.
DH and I decided that if he was not asleep by 11 pm with a sleep over at our house that we would give him some Melatonin or Benadryl so he can "function" the next day. Just wondering what others do.
Oh and we now have a rule that there are no computers or Wii after 5 pm because he gets too excited so if he and a friend want to do this they have to do it in the afternoon.

DD has only been on one sleepover. The other girl's mom said that they stayed up until midnight or thereabouts.
I think that's pretty normal for sleepovers, though. My non-ADHD son has been on a couple of them, and the boys stayed up until 1 both times!
