Thanks for hanging in here with me. Yesterday DS was invited to a birthday/pool party for one of his bestest friends. We got there and he just sat in the chair next to me, didn't want to swim, wasn't angy-just seemed sad and said he wanted to just go home and play with his Leggos. I had his dad bring his Leggos to the pool and he just worked with them the whole 2+hours. He was also very quiet the day before-said he felt fine. This is NOT normal behavior for an 8 year old boy!
Needless to say I reduced his meds today from 30mg to 20mg.
Calling the doctor later.

He is definitely much more himself on the lower dose. I don't want a quiet kid. That is NOT who my baby is! he's got imagination, spunk, energy, determination and drive. he's the life of the party-not sitting on the sidelines!
