We went to school this morning to see the 2nd grade show. My DS had to miss it last week because he was suspended for hitting and wasn't allowed to participate in the show for the parents on Thursday night. When we showed up today there were 5 other parents/grandparents there to see so the show so I whispered to DH "so should I go up to these parents and ask "Hey was you kids suspended too?'"
 Anyway, he did a great job. The medication seems to be helping. We were supposed to increase his dosage today but I didn't because I was worried it would make his super hyper like it did Saturday and I didn't want him to get in trouble up on stage. I won't tomorrow either because it is Field Day and on Sunday he complained that being in the sun made him feel sick. I will up the dose on Thursday though. Hope I'm doing the right thing.

Yeah!!! So glad that your DS did well in the show. How are the meds taking? Did you talk with your doc about the funny side effects? I'm hoping those have passed now.
I know this is a hard decision, but have faith that you are taking the right steps for him. You aren't throwing him to the wolves...you are keeping an eye on him and wanting to help him succeed.
