I've been wondering if you're still having the breast pain. Every time I have a shooting pain under my radiated breast, I think of you.

Shawny, you are such a sweetie to think of me! Interesting thing about that breast pain--remember it was not the BC breast, but the other one that was lifted and reduced when I had reconstruction. By the time I finally got in to see my plastic surgeon, the pain had gone away, and I mentioned to my doc that the pain went away after I took a course of antibiotics for a sinus infection.
"HUH..." he said.
"Could the pain have been from some sort of infection that the antiobiotics cleared up?" I said.
"Unlikely" he said.
He felt me up, asked a few questions, acted sympathetic, and said he was not concerned. And that was the end of that. No pain since. Go figure...

How often do you get your shooting pains?

Maybe 3 to 5 a day. My onc tells me it's due to scar tissue.

This cracked me up! Somehow I think it would be a perfect chart note - succinct, accurate, objective. I love it!
