I've been keeping close tabs on Patrick Swayze since being diagnosed last year with cancer. I watched the Barbara Walters interview. Sad. Very sad. And last week I saw his first series episode of The Beast. I loved it. Really edgey. They filmed the series in Chicago. Was there a lot of hoopla connected with it? Or did it take place with not much notice?

Shawny, you're scaring me: why are you posting about Patrick Swayze to Ginger? Is there something I don't know about pancreatic cancer? Ginger, are you okay?

Shawny--I have heard really good things about that show, but I honestly had no idea that it was filmed in Chicago! Either it was kept well under wraps, or I'm more clueless than I thought! Probably the latter...

My gosh Mary, I didn't mean to scare you. I asked Ginger about the series because it was filmed in her city of Chicago.
Ginger - Have been missing you. What kind of work on the house?

I saw the Barbara walters interview too. It was so touching. you could see his fear and yet the strength and hope and that same time. I think he's amazing to do the show. I haven't seen it yet but have seen many previews.

Thanks for asking sweetie. I've missed you too!GingerIL
