My step daughter donated 16"

of her hair, toward a wig for a cancer patient she met a few years ago.
I am so proud of her!

I nagged and nagged for her to cut her hair because she didn't take care of it, then one day she told us of her desire to grow it and donate it.
I honestly thought she was feeding us a line to get us off her back (as she often does-lol), but she actually did it!

I am so glad I stopped questioning her motives, even though part of me wasn't sure she would follow thru.
I picked her up on Friday and she had a cute little bob just past her ears.
I had a smile that reached from one ear to another

I just happened to see this post from the main bb and just wanted to say how awesome!!! It warms my heart to hear a teen doing something so selfless. I hope she knows what a difference she has made to that person! High 5 and you go girl!
