    To San12

    Hi San12!!!

I live in Mississauga and recently switched my fertility doctor and am going to see Dr. Soliman at New Life this coming Monday! How is he? Are you happy having him as your doctor?

    Thanks

    Hi MoreHope,

He's okay, I go to his clinic in Brampton. I like the staff and it feels like they care because it's a smaller office. I've been to a few others as well. In my opinion, he could have a better bed side manner. But I guess he's okay.

THank you very much Alynn and SAn for replying! I just joined this group few days ago and I am very happy to meet you online! I was seeing a doctor on 790 Bay street Create Fertility Clinic and I wasn't happy there! I hope that Dr. Soliman will be able to help me.

I'm in Toronto and as far as I know I'm with repromed and Dr. Del Valle. I was formerly with Mount Sinai's RBU, but I'd advise not using them.

    Hi ladies,

Thanks for your responses, I hope everyone has wonderful success with their chosen RE's.

I have now chosen to go back to Repromed, and Dr. Del Valle. We are going to do DE IVF, and it's going to cost a small fortune. However, If this is the path I must take, I'd rather do it with a clinic that has more resources. Dr. Soliman's clinic does it as well, but I felt better with Dr. Del Valle.

So wish me luck girls, I think I'm in for a bumpy ride.

    Loss, pregnancy mentioned:

    Good luck San!

I hope all goes well. I'm with Dr. Del Valle as well and I agree, he is expensive. I think I'm in for a bumpy ride also--the main reason why I'm saying never go to Sinai is that one of the RE's Dr. Shapiro, seems to be sour about me leaving and seeking services at another clinic.

She's already successfully derailed an IVF cycle (which is including me, the GC and a sperm donor) by sending a letter saying I'm "too unfit to do an cycle because I became depressed after my second stillbirth." The main problem with the letter, besides it breaching the Freedom of Information and Privacy Act as the RE never requested information on psychological issues, is that the letter is inaccurate according to the psychiatrist who had treated me for the resulting grief and depression after the second stillbirth.

OMG Keile, I'm so sorry you're going through this. I did read it on the other thread as well. That's just not right. I've never had a problem changing REs', but then again, I've never told them that I was going to see someone else. My referrals usually come from the family doctor, and she knows nothing about my struggles.

I hope this all works out for you. It's really not fair.

    San
