a question from an inbetweener

Hey all
Just a little question if you dont mind me barging in from the in between room? I am looking at changing my Re for our next cycle of ivf/icsi and am thinking bout Dr Virro, does anyone have any experience with him they dont mind sharing? Good or bad I want all the goods.

Thanks

Hi,
I know Dr. Virro has a long waiting list. He is also supposed to be one of the best in Ontario. I have two friends who have appts in March (that they made a month ago) I know they are on a cancellation list but waiting times are still long. I considered him or AuYeung (who is also supposed to be pretty good in the GTA) and I had a shorter waiting time with AuYeung (and he also happens to be closer to work, Markham is out of the way for me) so I had my consult and feel I'm in great hands with him. I'm starting my diagnostic cycle tomorrow as he likes to get his own results. I was a patient at Lifequest but after 4 failed IUI's and 1 failed IVF decided it was time to make a change. If his waiting list had been shorter and I would of been closer I may of gone with Virro...

He is my dr and is fabulous. He does have a huge waiting list as well to get in I think when I went I got my appt in Nov 1999 and got in april 2000. I was pg in Aug 2000. He was the best I found and truly have no regrets. He found my chrom problem and a uterine septum which he removed surgically. He refused to do IVF as he said that wouldn't take but the Re I saw previous to him wanted to start IVF right away and heck it would have never have worked. I am truly 100% happy with him. He has been my dr/specialist since 2000 and since seeing him I have 2 beautiful wonderful children. PM if you want more information from me.
