I was watching " Brining Baby Home" on TLC. The mom's milk hadn't come in yet ( ababy was about 3 day old) She really wanted to BF. So the Lactation Consultant told her to pump and mix her colostrum with glucose (sugar) water. I found this interesting. Anyone else hear about this?
I know when I was in the hospital, Abby was a good nurser. One night, she was refusing to latch, but you could tell she was rooting really bad. The nurse tried to get her to latch and still Abby was fighting. After a few min the nurse put some glucose water on my nipple and then Abby latched.

I know they feed it to formula fed babies in the beginning. My only issue would be the baby getting a bottle.
Kyler got bottles early and so did Kaden (although he only got one) for his 2nd feeding. Jacob didn't get any bottles and he was my best latcher!
