Help with baby biting while nursing
For those that have babies with teeth - how do you get them to stop biting while nursing?? My baby has her two bottom teeth, and a couple of days ago she bit me while nursing. I hoped it was just a fluke, but she did it again during today's morning feeding and during lunch when I nursed her at daycare.

Hi. Just slowly take her off so it does not kill her and tell her NO! My son did that 2-3 times and he knew it was not right and he was just testing me. Hopefully she will not do it again. Good luck!

When my LO would bite I would pop him off and say "no biting" and end the nursing session. Close up shop for a few minutes. It only took me a time or two and he didn't do it anymore. He liked nursing too much and it hurt his feelings to have to stop!
Of course if he was still hungry I would let him nurse again after a few minutes - but long enough to make a point. |
