My DD is 10 weeks today, and I think I need to invest in some new bras! I've been having some plugged duct issues, and I know I should try something other than underwire, but I'm a 38D and need the support. I feel like anything but underwire makes me look saggy! lol
So my question...what non underwire nursing bra would you recommend? And, is it supportive?
Links are appreciated as I love shopping online.![]()

bravado is what I wear and I"m a 38C right now (up from a 36 almost A). I have the no underwire bra.

the only drawback is they don't come in WHITE. Butterscotch is like an ivory. But they are comfortable and easy to clasp and have inserts which can be taken out and it washes well.

I am a 36D and my sister gave me her bras and they work quite well. I will have to ask her what brand as there are no tags on them.

I'm a 38DD while nursing (usually a 36D otherwise) and with this baby I've been wearing Playtex nursing bras. I have one with underwire and one without. With other babies I wore other brands that were way more expensive and I don't think they were that much better. At night you could try a bra that just holds in your pads but doesn't give support. I have some but I don't know the brand. I'll try to remember to look tonight.

I don't know if they're 'good' but they were 'good enough' at least for me.
I bought a bunch of nursing bras at Target... I liked that I could buy a bunch, bring them home, and return what I didn't like. I didn't need to try on in the store. (A friend of mine actually sent her husband to buy one of everything in her size(s)!)
At my local store they had a good selection of with and w/o underwire. I especially liked their tanks which I used for sleeping... not so much support but holds the pads and easy to open. I used them by day around the house for the first month as well, with an open button-down shirt over them -- very casual.
When I first bought the brand was Liz Lange.... soon after they switched to Gillian ? (I forget the last name) but the styles all seemed the same. That was two years ago so I don't know what they have now.
I don't know what Target might have online.
Another resource is Lady Grace.... which has both physical and online access. I can't get the website because I'm at work (and I know from previous tries it blocks).
Best of luck,

I also have one of the Target brand nursing bras. It's fine but I like the Playtex ones better. They do have a nice selection at Target for decent prices. I only bought one because I needed a black one. There may be other ones there that are just as good as the Playtex bras.

I was going to try the Platex bras but never got that far. I bought 2 bras at Target prior to delivery just to have something on hand (and the price was right). I liked them enough that I didn't search any farther.
I will say that I did NOT like the ones that Target had that had a lacey overlay. I thought it would be fine since it had a smoother cup underneath, but they ended up being a bit too itchy.

Thanks ladies! I was considering one of the Playtex ones, so it's good to know that they're halfway decent.

I looked around online and it looks like they are the Medela ones. They are really comfty and supportive for not having an underwire. I have three of these.

I also have one of these from my previous pregnancy and it is comfty too but not as supportive. It is supportive enough for me that I still wear it during the day.

I am having issues with bras as well. I am usually a 38D and went to a 38 G!!!!!
I got some bras from motherhood maternity they are sports bra types and very very comfy. For only 15.00 each

The only issue I fixed myself. Is the back hurt my neck a little due to me being so heavy when full. So I sewed them to be normal back straps.
It sucks when your boob is bigger then your babys head
