    I went to my fertility MD to do an ultrasound after using a second round of clomid, progesterone, acupuncture, and supplements... She excitedly told me I had a great follicle forming on my left ovary~. I knew the clomid was working since I really felt the side effects at the increased dose- bloating, insomnia, moodiness... I'm so glad that these treatments are working for me. Now, just testing for LH surge, getting adequate hubby time, and praying through the knees!

    Clomid is pretty unpleasant, but overall I feel still worth trying in my case. The biggest side effects for me was the crazy BLOATING in the abdomen and the low moods. Went to the fertility MD on Day 16 (no LH surge yet). When she did the ultrasound, she felt the clomid did not give a "great" response. She increased my dose for next month if I have my regular period this month. I'm also continuing with my Traditional Chinese Medicine Accupuncturist appointments.

    My husband and I started TTC in January 2011. I stopped my Tricyclen birth control, but noticed my periods were becoming less frequent. By June 2011, I was getting worried with the prolonged length of my cycles and by December 2011 I was in the doctor's office. After my labs were complete I was referred to the fertility specialists and to my surprise got an appointment by January 2012. My FSH was 45 and my ultrasound showed 2 follicles in my ovaries... Everything else was fine and so were ...
