I'm not sure if my hormones are acting up, but I've been feeling very tired and nauseated lately... I think it's too early to have symptoms of a pregnancy already~

Wondering what type of symptoms you may have had after taking an HCG trigger shot?

  2. Rudest RE

    by , 01-06-2013 at 12:45 PM
I've been seeing a great RE for the past year, and we've seeing some progress with various treatments. I had to get an ultrasound this morning and had to be seen by a different RE. What a big difference! This woman was extremely rude, blunt, and poorest bedside manner I've ever seen. I came home and felt so defeated... I'm so glad I have a supportive husband and a good USUAL RE! I'm hoping I wont have to see that other woman again. Wondering if there are places I can rate how terrible she ...

  3. Great Results

I went to my fertility MD to do an ultrasound after using a second round of clomid, progesterone, acupuncture, and supplements... She excitedly told me I had a great follicle forming on my left ovary~. I knew the clomid was working since I really felt the side effects at the increased dose- bloating, insomnia, moodiness... I'm so glad that these treatments are working for me. Now, just testing for LH surge, getting adequate hubby time, and praying through the knees!
  4. First round of Clomid

Clomid is pretty unpleasant, but overall I feel still worth trying in my case. The biggest side effects for me was the crazy BLOATING in the abdomen and the low moods. Went to the fertility MD on Day 16 (no LH surge yet). When she did the ultrasound, she felt the clomid did not give a "great" response. She increased my dose for next month if I have my regular period this month. I'm also continuing with my Traditional Chinese Medicine Accupuncturist appointments.

  5. Green milkshakes~

Just started taking Greens+ and probiotics. I picked up the Greens+ at my local health food store since it has a lot of the supplements that have been mentioned in various fertility books including chlorella, spirulina, wheat grass, royal jelly, bee pollen... I have to admit that I did feel more energy after having a small amount in the mornings, but the powder is quite chalky. I've tried:
    - Greens+, banana, soy milk
    - Greens+, apple juice, banana

    If you have any ...

  6. Positive thinking

My husband and I started TTC in January 2011. I stopped my Tricyclen birth control, but noticed my periods were becoming less frequent. By June 2011, I was getting worried with the prolonged length of my cycles and by December 2011 I was in the doctor's office. After my labs were complete I was referred to the fertility specialists and to my surprise got an appointment by January 2012. My FSH was 45 and my ultrasound showed 2 follicles in my ovaries... Everything else was fine and so were ...
