  1. Ruthie!!!

    by , 05-15-2008 at 09:52 PM
Ruthie is here! Well, not here but she is on the web for all to see. If you are wondering what the heck I am talking about, you are obviously not an American Girl collector. If you are, this is the new doll, best friend to Kit. She is under wraps at American Girl and she goes on sale June 1st. But one vendor (I think it was Barnes and Noble) has her on display early. Shame on them! An AG fan took pics and shared them on You Tube. She has dark hair and grey eyes!! So here she is:

  2. BLOG #30 Boring Blog about my new dishes...

    by , 01-14-2008 at 10:06 PM
I got new everyday dishes! Whoo Hooo! It was something I had to do but just did not get a chance until recently. I loved my old dishes, but they were bone china, not really meant for the wear and tear of everyday, but they lasted over 10 years, so I cannot complain. They finally started chipping and breaking and the glaze was coming off, so they wanted to be put out of their misery. They were super cheap at the time and since I really loved them, I decided to go ahead and get the bone china. ...

  4. BLOG #28 How Cool!

    ~COUSIN BRAG~

My cousin is a very talented lady. She has I think 3 albums out and she is an aspiring artist. Her gifts are always so cool. I get her music and last year she painted a gorgeous ornament for me. This year she actually wrote a book and send me a signed copy with a credit to me in the book! She said if it was not for me and her sister, inspiring her to write it and encouraging her to finish it and proof-reading sections, she said she would not have ever finished it. ...

  5. BLOG #27 The Girls Are Here!! Whoo Hooo

    by , 01-05-2008 at 12:51 PM
I opened my door last night to the UPS man and he must have thought I was a lunatic. Well, I am a lunatic. As he was walking up my to my door I started clapping, knowing "my girls" and my Swarvoski ornaments were being delivered all in the same evening. I was so excited. I buy the Swarvoski snowflake ornaments every year and try to buy at least 2, sometimes more because they are so gorgeous, but only if they are on sale because I refuse to pay $60.00 each for them. Well, this year ...

  6. BLOG # 25 ~ The Doll Craze!

    by , 12-27-2007 at 12:56 PM
This year was an unsual year. I received pretty much all cash, which is fine with me! So, I decided to indulge in that little obsession called American Girl. I have always loved dolls growing up. The AG dolls are so expensive, but since even DS likes to say baby and carry them around, I figured I would indulge us all. He does prefer the baby doll that is wearing a blue sleeper, though. LOL! So, I decided to finish my Hopscotch Hills collection and was able to get Logan recently. ...

  7. BLOG # 24 Holiday Recap

    by , 12-27-2007 at 09:10 AM
Christmas was awesome! We went to my brother & SIL's house. They have a huge, gorgeous new house and it was decorated so beautifully. We had a really fun time. The kids had a ball with their cousins. The dinner was great and the gifts were awesome. It was really nice. Then, on Christmas Day it was just me and Dh and the kids until Grandpa came over later for dinner. They had a ball opening their presents. They both found one present they love the best and have not stopped playing with ...

  8. Blog #23

    by , 12-22-2007 at 07:00 PM
I have been either forgetting to blog, or remember to and not having any energy left to. It has been busy here with 3 out of 4 of us having colds, although we are a bit better today. We all got our red gear on and tried to see Santa. We went to a small mall out of the way and there was hardly a line and a great Santa, but the kids were not convinced. They cried and clung to us. DD might have done it as she was watching the next kids going and she wanted to go back, but we just gave up. Sigh. ...

    A Turkey For Your Thoughts!

Today was great! We usually go to my SIL's house for Thanksgiving but she had a bunch of relatives on her side of the family come from out of town, so she said they were not going to invite anyone else or it would get to be too big of a party. So, we happily said that was fine. I did not really relish the thought of driving across town with two crabby toddlers, so we decided we would have our only ...

  10. BLOG #21 Kids are too cute sometimes!

    by , 11-19-2007 at 08:48 PM
Dh was gone from Sunday to Sunday. It was sort of easy because the kids are always sooo good when he is gone. It was just so quiet in the house. He came back with huge amounts of presents from the grandparents in England. The kids are soooo spoiled! DS was so happy because they bought him another bendy bus. He had one that broke and it was his favorite toy and it would be so hard to fix. He kept bringing it to me in 2 parts asking me to fix it. I tried but it just does not work. You would have ...
