    I just spent three glorious days with my DD! Had her 15 month photo shoot on Friday, attended an amazing first birthday party/luau on Saturday, went to a fest on Sunday (more hula dancers, whee!). She was such a good baby. (Oh, man, I swear someone is going to slap me if I say that one more time, but it's so true.) Laughing, dancing, babbling up a storm (oh, and I love it when she uses the hand gestures. Like pointing directly at you while babbling some incomprehensible explanation. DH swears ...

  2. Today I hate my hair.

    So trivial, but isn't it weird how a bad hair day just gets you down?

    I've got an appointment for a haircut this evening and I may be tempted to tell her to shave my head. Yeah, right.

    When most of my hair fell out two years ago, it was quite the traumatic experience! But I was reminded to appreciate what was left, not to focus on what I had lost (ah, how profound). Reminds me of that great anicdote about the woman who had three hairs and it's all about attitude. ...

  3. To try or not to try, that is the question...

    I feel like I'm making this a bigger deal than it should be. Flip a coin. Something. I just hate indecision.

    So my rheumatologist gave me TWO weeks to decide whether or not I will try for another baby.

    Let's face it. Baby number one was a complete miracle. I'm not sure I can ask for another miracle from God. I mean, how many miracles are you allowed in one lifetime?

    Financially, can we afford it? I so hate having to deal with the fact that insurance ...
