Results of the test!!!

Posted 10-27-2009 at 02:38 AM by toni2

I rushed Rob's sperm sample to the hospital last Thursday. What a performance!. We abstained for 3 days as instructed and on the third day I politely asked if he would like any help with the task in hand and he (just as politely) said he was a little bit stressed and would I mind leaving the room for a while!!! So I did.

When all was erm....completed, I tucked the sample into my pocket to keep it warm and raced to the hospital. We were told we had to get it there within an hour and I made it. Just.

When I eventually found the department (which was right at the top of the hospital and really difficult to locate). I handed it in and the man behind the counter held it up, shook it and said "Semen sample??". Talk about state the obvious. I was so tempted to say it was yoghurt culture or something.....

Anyway, Rob has to phone up Doctors today to find out the results and then we can see if we can take this further.

My dear friend, who had more or less decided that she wouldnt be able to help us, has told me that she cant stop thinking about it and really wants to do it, so I dont really know what will happen. Whether she will help us or whether we will go to COTS or something.
