My older friend (46 and post menopausal) has offered to be a surrogate for us if we can find out a bit information about it i.e. if it is actually possible and the possible dangers involved to her and the baby. She would only consider doing it if we found an egg donor though.

We have to take 2 more samples to the hospital over the nights month or so. Apparently, as the count is a little on the low side (but nothing at all to worry about), the doctor reckoned that if we were doing IVF it would be perfectly fine, but if its the "turkey baster" method (which it will be) then it might take a few go's. We were relieved though of course because, after the scare the other day, we thought there was something badly wrong.

My boys are 19 and 21. They both live with my ex husband (who has a bigger house). The younger one rents a room there with his girlfriend and the older one commutes from there to his girlfriend's house.
