Ty is playing Midget League Baseball (10 and under) for Parks and Recreation this year and they have played 3 games so far ...... and have won all 3 !! The boys were all so excited last night, the score was 11-0. We have a scrimage game on Thursday that will not count, then another game on Tuesday. Tyler got to bat several times, but the last time he was up, the pitcher hit him in the leg with the ball. Now, we have to play by the other towns rules (thought all the rules should be the same), so they do not walk when you get hit by the ball. So then the picture pitched again and Ty got hit in the back !! Ty just stood back up to bat again and me and the others parents started fussing, saying What's up with that??!! I guess the umpire agreed and let him walk to first base. I was so proud of Tyler for stepping back up and not being afraid of that ball. My little man is growing up.
