BB and I had been nursing 3 times a day. Before each nap and at bedtime. I just didn't get it together before we left for Florida and since then we've had her in enough of a tailspin that shaking her up with weaning seemed mean.

But, in the course of our travels, she had bitten/worn me to the point I was bleeding real blood from the nip on Friday. I was in PAIN. I put a bandaid over it and closed up shop on Friday morning.

She accepted it no problem for the most part. I think it helped that AF was in town so my supply was lower anyway.

And it's so nice to cuddle with her and a sippy cup. To not be all tense about piranha baby coming in for the kill.

She's still kind of out of sorts. I think a combo of growth spurt and molars. Has been up a little in the night, sometimes inconsolable. And eating like a fiend. Sleeping a lot during the day too.

She's a lot of fun though. Loves to tickle us or lift her shirt to be tickled. And she's mastered "bye bye". Even pulled off a Bye Bye Daddy this morning.
