    Hi everyone! I just wanted to stop by and introduce myself. Im Ashley, Im 27 and about a week ago my Doctor told me she believes I have POF, after my FSH came back at 107 mU/mil. I want nothing more than to have a biological child with my new husband and I am completely devestated. My OBGYN referred me to a RE however my insurance doesnt cover the cost AT ALL! Im not sure I can even afford the $210 consultation fee much less all the testing they are gonna want to do! Im thinking about trying Ancient ...

  2. FSH of 49. Would really appreciate advice and similar stories.

    I am 34 years old and have no children (yet) although my partner and I have decided to start trying. I have been having frequent daily hot flushes for a few months now and terrible headaches and am constantly waking during the night. My last period was 3 months ago. I had a blood test and last week discovered I have an FSH level of 49. My doctor has told me I have a 5% chance of getting pregnant if I start trying now and has referred me to a specials at the hospital. I have to wait up to 3 months ...

  4. Keep on, keepin' on....

    So this is my first official blog. I have always been a journal writer (yes, I wanted to be Harriet the Spy) but blogging is something new for me.

    I am 32 years old with a super DH and diagnosis of POF. I recently found out that another term that is in right now is low ovarian reserve. Makes me feel like I am in a category with a water supply shortage though so I will go with POF. High FSH is also along for the ride and my highest was in the 90's.
