Well I am finally have something to post!!!! We had our 13wk U/S today the baby is measuring right on target at 13 wks exactly, we got some pictures finally and I actually felt safe enough to go out and buy some maternity pants LOL now that I have seen the baby wiggling around. It took some time to get a profile and measure cuz everytime she pressed the wand on my belly the baby would look towards it so she couldn't get it measure but that meant we could just enjoy watching our little ...

Well what a whirlwind Christmas we have had, we had a bumpy start to our traditional Christmas eve feast. Pookie's Mom has been ill for the past few weeks, pneumonia and she saw a specialist after having loads of tests and she actually lied to us and said they didn't know anything after all tests. In fact they have found a spot on her lungs, and we have to wait for biopsy results. Well we are very close to the 12wk mark and I am thrilled to report absolutely nothing. We have been passing the time reading the baby book and filling out the journal book. But i am getting very impatient of the idea of waiting ANOTHER week before we get to see our baby so I must confess that I surfed through ebay and purchased a doppler. I justified it by saying that since we were still going to announce at Christmas that we were preggers that we could all listen to the heartbeat. But now ...

Well I finally initiate sex with Pookie Friday and don't I start bleeding right afterward!! So needless to say Pookie is not getting anymore until LONG after I give birth cause that freaked me right out! It was very little blood and it stopped in less than 24 hrs, but after all we have been through I was not able to handle that stress well at all! Thank goodness that one of our closest and dearest friends is an OB nurse and she has no problem dealing with all my nervous questions.

So I have actually gone out and bought a pregnancy journal, a friend had gone out and got me the Mother of all pregnancy books when we got our first bfp in august. I have had it out reading up on whats happening in there from week to week but I was so worried about getting the journal. I admit I carry it EVERYWHERE I go now that I have it LOL!!

nausea
tiredness
dry skin
my finger nails are so dry !
acne
dizziness if i move to quickly
runny nose

hard bowel movements
increased peeing

Well I can't believe we are coming up to 9 wks, for the most part I am
feeling pretty good. But naturally I am worrying about the things in
my life that I can't control. I am really having a tough time with
sleep, I really believe this has a lot to do with the fact that all
day I don't allow myself to spend a lot of time on the negative. But
at night my mind when I am trying to sleep has free range. I am have
been worrying about my diabetes and the effects ...

I have not been a good blogger this time around. We have finished our very first FET, and I am thrilled announce that we have another + first 6dpt (very faint Pookie saw it I didn't) & and than we both saw it 8 dpt. We have been almost 3 wks since our + Beta on Oct 27/08. We are now the night before our 7wk 1day US and I *HOPE* that tomorrow comes quickly. Well this is the most difficult time of year, all the pink everywhere I go. I love it I really do, I have so much pink ribbon stuff but I real reminder of Mom's battle with breast cancer. I have to admit this is a particularly difficult time for me because we finally have a headstone for Moms grave and it has made it thinks very raw all over again.
