That little boy smile will never be the same - C1 lost his 5th tooth today (the school nurse pulled it for him since he won't let dh or I touch it and he wanted it out). It's the upper right middle tooth.

Last week, C2 scored his first goal of the season and today he scored 3!!! WTG sweetie

C2 was just playing outside and started screaming. I went out there and he was freaked out by a bee, I guess. He didn't get stung- just said he heard it buzzing. He does not like bees at all. He said bees are why he doesn't like summer. He said bees aren't out in the winter because they don't have coats to wear and also that they don't have fur. I love their innocent, sweet little minds .

Yay, we actually got this one LOL. C1 was complaining that it hurt to eat breakfast this morning so I told him his tooth really needed to come out- he wanted no part of me pulling it, but mentioned that maybe the school nurse could do it. Well, she said it basically fell out and he now has it in a little box that he's thrilled with. I sure hope the tooth fairy pays us a visit tonight. I also hope C didn't hear his two classmates who ate lunch with us talk about how there is no tooth fairy ....

Boy, what happened to my great sleepers??? For a long time now, I've cuddled with C1 after we get both boys to bed. He's always sad when I leave and wants me to stay a long time. Tonight, C2 comes in to C1's room and wants to cuddle with us. He then asked me how come I don't cuddle with him . I ended up going back and forth and I didn't think I'd ever get downstairs. We don't know the details, but had a message from him tonight that he got his test results and it is lymphoma. He said the doctors don't think it's too advanced and that he's been referred to an oncologist and will get a treatment plan figured out soon. R is a very nice man and both he and his wife have always been SO nice and welcoming to me. We don't see them often as he left MIL when dh was 2 and MIL's new dh adopted my dh a few years later. R has a lot of other health issues- I sure hope...

I am SOOOOO sick of dh's training for this STUPID Ironman. When he's actually home, he's too **** tired to do much of anything and I'm SICK OF IT. There, maybe I feel a teensey bit better now. Only 6 weeks to go- hope I can survive it! Thank goodness for this blog because I can't vent anywhere else.

I ran into work for a little while tonight and dh called when I was there- he had taken the boys to the school playground to work on them riding their bikes without training wheels. We've been really bad about having them practice - it had been at least a month since they'd tried- they were doing ok, but could only go about 5 or 10 feet without falling. Well, both of them just took off tonight and were riding all over!!! They need help getting started, but then they do just fine. I was SO sad...

Dh and I have never been away together since we've had kids. We are going to visit my family next week and my sister offered (all on her own without me asking) to watch them for 2 days so we could have some alone time. I called her last night to tell her we were for sure going to do that and she basically told me that it's bad timing and she can't . They have some home renovations going on and I guess their house is a mess. However, it ticks me off that she is still going to host her good...

Grrrr, my in-laws drive me nuts! They are in town for dh's cousins wedding on Friday- they got here yesterday and I just found that out then. We had them over for dinner tonight. MIL seemed a little annoyed when I told her that I had to take off right after dinner and get some things for the wedding that I haven't had time to get yet.
