Sorry I did not mean to make this so long but worth the read it I hope.

Some of you will remember that for about three weeks we did not know if dh's job contract would be renewed after the 31st. I was very stressed out about it as I do not make enough to even pay half of our bills. Well he did get renewed.

During that time of not knowing, dh and the boys kept asking me what I wanted for Christmas. I did not want them to get me anything not knowing what we were going to be facing. I told the that if dh's got a new contract all I wanted was the application fee for our China adoption. I have wanted to adopt from China for years now.

Well I had to work New Years Eve overnight in the ER. So I was not home to ring in the New Year with my family. They called me at work around mid night to tell me that they got all the loose change that dh's throws in a drawer at night. Well to my suprise there was over $65.00 in there. When they called me they told me that they were starting a jar of money for the adoption app fee for Abby. I starting crying right there at work. My coworkers thought something was wrong.

I also wanted to add that as I am typing this I have a ladybug walking around on the lamp here on my desk. China moms you will know that gives me chills. A ladybug in freezing cold weather. Grayson wanted to put her outside but I told him to leave her right where she is so she can be warm for the night. Hope the cats don't get her.

2008 will be the year we finally start our journey to bring our Abby home.
