Kyler is still drawing stick people. He was on yellow yesterday so he couldn't play his DS after Kaden went to bed last night so I had him write a sentence and draw a picture about the sentence. He wrote:

When it rans (rains) a ranbow (rainbow) comes up.

He drew a pretty rainbow and made his period from his sentence the cloud and drew rain drops. Then he drew a stick figure and I asked him if he could put clothes on his people. So I drew (I'm so not an artist) a ...

Well, it appears as if they have kept DH in his interim role as long as they can. They still don't have a position for him. They haven't laid him off yet, but it is inevitable. His boss just gave him some job leads. I don't know if he'll be let go at the end of the day or next week or next month, but I'm certain now it will happen. Hopefully one of these job leads pan out. My heart hurts for him. He's really good at what he does. He loves working. Has said many times he'd continue to work ...

They only got one before Jacob had a melt down!

I'm really sad Kyler was in kindy when these were taken. He is too. But I should have his school picture really soon!

Kyler's been practicing this poem for a week. The best child out of every class got to recite it at the oratorical contest yesterday. Kyler wasn't chosen and he was very sad. But I think he does a great job reciting it!!!

I had a dream last night. I dreamed
I had to pick a Mother out.
I had to choose a Father too.

Kyler was on yellow yesterday so during his free time last night instead of playing his DS we wrote sentences and drew pictures.

I also asked him what we did after dinner and he wrote:

I playd outsid with mommy and Kaden and J(written backwards) acob. I playd with my scoter (scooter), (yes, he used a comma) mommy skatd (skated), Kaden ran, Jacob playd with a ball.

I think I'm going to get the boys a piggy bank to put in the Easter baskets. Kyler has been asking to save his money for a Wii. They all got money for Valentines Day and they get money here and there for doing things around the house. I like the save, donate, spend and invest piggy banks!!! I wish I had bought them for Christmas, but I don't want to wait until this Christmas, so Easter will do!!!

I can't believe February is almost over. The first 2 months of this year have just flown by!!!

Kyler was on red last Thursday at school. I don't know why, but he just can't stay in his seat. Not sure if that is a reason to put the poor child on red, but I can understand that it is disruptive to the class. He seems to like school and he loves his teacher. He's learning, so I guess I can't really complain. He loves math and is really good at it. Still doesn't have much interested ...

After her diagnosis of breast cancer in November, she had a double mastectomy. She just moved into her new home near her children. She's had one chemo treatment and days after it she came down with a bronchial infection that landed her in the hospital for 6 days. She's starting to lose her hair. And she's just 3 days away from her next chemo treatment, if her bloodwork comes back okay.

Her granddaughter is walking in the Susan G. Komen 3 day. She's already raised over $2500. ...
