I have to blog about Jacob's potty training. Yesterday he had an accident free day! Dry all day and he even pooped in the potty at daycare. He'll be three in Oct so it is time for us to be through with diapers! Sure will be nice in a way. But sad in a way too. I was Kaden's partner.

I was the only one to catch a fish! It weighed 2.92 lbs. It didn't win us anything, but we sure had a good time!!!

DH and I got up at 3:30 AM. We had to wake the boys at 4:00. We fished from 6:00-12:00. Kyler fished practically the whole time. Kaden isn't quite so dedicated yet, but he will be. He takes after his mommy and likes to snack!

We had some wonderful quality family time. Jacob stayed home with my dad and enjoyed his "poppy time". I'm so lucky my dad loves hanging out with the boys.

It was a busy, busy weekend. I'm so tired! And this week I've got to get us ready to go to the lake for our annual memorial day weekend trip. It's been 2 months since I've written! And I hate that because I really use my blog to go back in time and remember things!

I've been terrible at taking pictures lately. I don't think I've taken a single picture since Easter. And not many before that!

Life has been full of work, baseball, t-ball, homework and house hunting!

Kyler has one more month of 1st grade. He has spring fever! He can't wait until summer. He's done really well academically. I still think he needs to really work on his reading over the summer. And he needs to find his confidence again in math...he lost it somewhere a long the way. His behavior is going downhill. He just can't stay on green. He talks and talks and talks. Not sure how to help him with that. Punishing doesn't work, rewarding him doesn't work.

Kaden is really looking forward to moving up at the daycare and then attending kindergarten in the fall. He's so excited to be able to ride the bus with Kyler. I'm hoping to take him up to school one day before summer so he can eat lunch with Kyler and get the feel of the cafeteria. That way we can go over some of the food issues he might have. BTW, he's now eating wheat!!! YAY!!!!!!! And we are slowly trying dairy! By the time he gets to kindy, I'm hoping he's eating everything but peanuts.

Jacob is a little toot. He's so funny. He speaks better than the other two did at this age. He's 2-1/2 and potty training is going really well. He stays dry pretty much all day, but not getting the poop thing down. He's so sweet, but so opininated. My boys have never been picky about their clothing and yet he is! His favorite saying is "me no like that"!

DH and I are going to Chicago in June and we are really looking forward to having some alone time!
