I realized I haven't updated since I was 12 weeks along!

Well, at my 19 weeks appt., cervical funneling & shortening was noted, and they wanted me back for a recheck a week later. A week later, it was even worse. So I went on strict bedrest.

Then the cervix lengthened back, and stayed stable for the rest of the time! I am now 34w2d, and from what I can tell, it hasn't gotten any worse! They stopped doing u/s at 28 weeks. But I attribute all the early problems ...

We're not too huge on Xmas backgrounds, so we went with the plain background...

I've been posting news on boards instead of in my blog! I need to update my blog better.

I am now 12.5 weeks along, and I had my NT scan yesterday! I got to have two ultrasounds instead of just one since the baby fell asleep during the first attempt, and would not roll over to the laying on back looking up position. Before she fell asleep (I'm saying she because I *think* it's a girl), she was moving her arms and legs everywhere. I saw her leg bones and both of her hands. ...

Well, I realized I never updated my 3rd beta! It was 3280!! Less than 48 hr. doubling time.

AND, we had our first ultrasound this past Tuesday, and we saw one perfect little beating heart! I have been released to my OB, and I have my first OB appt. on 6/30. I am currently 7w2d!

I'm sitting here just soooo upset (sad upset) over something that someone posted to me. She actually used the punch smilie like she wanted to punch me. There's a chorus of a song that I like that talks about woman's independence, and I mentioned it, and she got mad at me and showed me the punch smilie. Maybe I don't know the full meaning of the song, I'm not sure. But still. She didn't have to attack me.

2nd beta is 196! I was hoping for 160 as the best dream possible! This little one decided to do *just* a little better. hahaha

AND 198 is the median for 16 dpo. So NOW I am happy! I am going to celebrate for now! Another beta in a week and an u/s in a few weeks.

I can't believe it. I really am pregnant!

...I haven't had any giving birth dreams in a long, long, long time. Well, I had one last night! And in my dream, a baby just kinda fell out of me, and was already swaddled up in a blanket. So I unwrapped everything, and the baby was so beautiful and perfect, and I took off the diaper and saw that it was a girl!

Ok, there! I said it! I can't believe that I said it, but I said it! Like the nurse said, there is hcg being produced by an implanted embryo, there is no denying that!

I am trying to take everyone's advice best I can. I've been obsessing over looking up beta numbers. I found many many where the number was around mine, and everything was just fine!

Tomorrow's beta will tell more of a story! COME ON, doubling!!!!!
