Well, it's Easter morning, 12:15am! Today was a busy day, starting with Brooklyn and Blake's 3 year portraits. I know they are two months late, but better late than never, right??? I usually get really, REALLY stressed out about pictures because I want everything to be absolutely perfect! Blake was first and did pretty well! When it was Brooklyn's turn, she didn't want to let go of dh or I. We finally got her to cooperate and with a little bribery, the rest of the session went well. I give 100% credit to the photographer! If something didn't work right away (the pose, etc.), she changed it. It was so funny- Brooklyn was mimicking what the photographer was doing to get them to smile (put an object on her head, sneeze, drop the object, pick it up and say, "Look, look, look, look!) this evening!!

Then I had a baby shower to go to for a friend from the ward. I just love going to baby showers for first time moms! They get so excited over everything and it makes me reminiscent of when I was in that place, over three years ago! I took Brooklyn with me to the grocery store to stock up for the week and Easter dinner. We are having 5 couples and their children over to our apartment for a potluck Easter dinner! It should be good times! I've been busy this evening working on cleaning the house. I'm still nowhere near done, but I'll try to do as much as I can after church tomorrow. I still need to get the kids' Easter baskets put together so they can find them when they wake up. I can't wait to see Brooklyn, Blake and Gavin in their Easter outfits!! I tried to coordiante them as much as possible, but it wasn't easy, by any means!

A Brooklyn funny- I had my pump horns out on the counter to go in the dishwasher and she got up on the stool, picked one up and proceeded to "pump!" Then she tells me she needs to feed her baby, so she climbed in my recliner, got the Boppy pillow situated and got down to business! I asked her something and she said, "I'm busy, mom!" (I can't imagine where she got THAT from!! ) Of course I had to bust out the camera for such a milestone!

I love my kids! I love my husband! I'm so grateful for the good friends that I've made here in Cali. I'll miss them dearly when it's time to go our separate ways! I'm thankful for all the many blessings in my life. I'm truly not worthy of so much!
