  1. My first ever panic attack!

    by , 09-18-2007 at 06:20 PM
    A little background:

We're moving back to Arizona in a little over six weeks. We are planning on November 1st being THE big moving day- family bringing out trailers to help, etc. Some friends of ours talked about the possibility of taking their girls back home (UT) the weekend before the move and having parents watch them while they pack up and clean back here. So dh and I thought this could possibly be a good idea. We casually mentioned it to both sets parents, but didn't get ...

  2. Why is this happening???!

    by , 08-18-2007 at 04:14 PM

A few months ago, it seemed like everything was going perfect. Building a new home, a prospective job opportunity for dh the second he graduates and is licensed. It's all falling apart at the seams and I feel helpless.

The house- this is the SECOND house that we've started building in the past 8 months. The first one was going to be completed too soon (months before we were moving back to AZ), so the company allowed us to move to a smaller ...

  3. Why does it have to be so difficult??!?

    by , 08-04-2007 at 10:44 PM
Here we go with my first vent!

I've been sitting here at home and haven't left the house for the past two days. Yesterday (Friday), dh had off. He was able to run several errands, but I never left the house at all. So today, I remember I have a friends & family 30% off coupon for the Gap that expires tomorrow and I wanted to hit Gap Outlet tonight. So we head out soon after dh gets home. I'm having a good time, even though the mall was PACKED, the kids are behaving pretty ...

  4. House update

    by , 08-04-2007 at 10:34 PM
A couple people have expressed interest in how the new house is coming along, so I thought I'd share!

As most people know, we backed out of the original house we signed on because the house would have been done way too far in advance and we couldn't afford to do double payments (rent here, mortgage there). So we signed on a WAY smaller house (I'm talking almost half the size!) in the same development and plan to only stay for a couple years, but it will allow us to gradually replace ...

  5. Back to blogging

    by , 08-03-2007 at 10:20 PM
I started up a blog elsewhere on the net in order to keep in touch with my real life friends and consequently, I stopped blogging here. It would have been too much to keep up with two blogs, but I really am feeling the need to start back up with blogging here. I consider this more of a "safe haven" than my other blog. There, I can't post as freely about negative things that are going on in my life because my friends and family read that blog. Not that I want to paint a rosy picture ...

  6. My "exerciser" is back in business!!

    by , 04-10-2007 at 06:29 PM
It's been a l-o-n-g two weeks since I last stepped on the elliptical machine. I was doing SO well, so I really got discouraged when the darn thing broke! The company sent a replacement part, but when the tech came out, it wasn't the part that we needed. Dh ended up taking the whole thing back to WalMart and exchanging it for a new one. What a pain in the rear to put that thing together all over again!!!

The weekend was entirely too busy for me to even think about ...

  7. Easter 2007

    by , 04-10-2007 at 01:43 AM
I have to start off by saying that I was disappointed. Friday, I called my friend, asking if they had plans for Easter, almost certain that we'd be eating dinner together, just like the past two years. But, they'd already made plans with someone else. That hurt. I guess I was just assuming that we'd get together as "family," as we have for two consecutive years, to celebrate the holidays we'd otherwise be spending with our REAL families. I don't know why it bugs me so much --- ...

  9. Check those pockets!

    by , 04-05-2007 at 12:06 AM
I've always been really good at check both dh's and my pockets in our jeans & pants before doing the laundry. Just recently, I started checking Brooklyn and Blake's pockets before tossing anything in the washing machine. Good thing I checked this time before doing laundry!! Blake had rocks in a couple of his pockets and parts of flowers in other pockets!! Guess it's part of being a mom or a boy- finding treasures in his pockets! I just didn't realize that this age was already up ...

  10. How ironic

    by , 04-05-2007 at 12:01 AM
I was just about to come here and blog about the fact that AF never showed in March. This wacky-cracky postpartum AF junk!!! It's like every other month or something!!

Well, the 'ole witch showed today. I'm not sure what is going on, but I'm hoping my body will regulate itself soon! I can't handle not knowing when to expect AF!
