The kids had swim lessons tonight and towards the end of it, their coach took them into the deep lap pool. How I wished I would have followed them in there!!! His coach came out beaming telling me he is the best diver she has ever seen for his age (7)!!!!! They were diving off the diving board!!!!
Him and Ellie just started the swim team at the Y, and she is their coach for their team. I wished I could have seen him! I told her we practiced a lot off of our pontoon boat at the lake. I can't wait to tell DH. She told DH last week he is a quick learner and a fast swimmer. This is just what he needs too....three nights a week of practice and he actually loves this sport. His dad was (and still is) an excellent swimmer in school and broke records, I can see Donavan is going to be following in his footsteps.
