I am so over lugging around these big cameras of mine. And my pics from Christmas turned out just awful. Blurry and very dark. I want a small one that will fit in my purse, that still can zoom, and takes great pics INSIDE and OUTSIDE and one that is not complicated and is about $300 or under. Any recommendations?

The kids had swim lessons tonight and towards the end of it, their coach took them into the deep lap pool. How I wished I would have followed them in there!!! His coach came out beaming telling me he is the best diver she has ever seen for his age (7)!!!!! They were diving off the diving board!!!!

I haven't felt like blogging lately, and wanted to write about our Shopping Cart Incident at Wallyworld from Thursday night. It was always crazy when we take all the kids out errand running. I went to lunch last week with a former co-worker of mine. Her daughter had a baby last fall, she was planned, even though the parents aren't married. They are in their late 20's I think. Anyways, she had told me before how her future son-in-law had a one nighter 3 years ago after him and this girl met in a bar. He finds out months later she was pregnant! I am on #6 of this series and I don't know what I will do when I finish all of them. They are hilarious and hot at the same time. Has anyone heard if it will be made into a movie? Yesterday, being the first day of spring, I cleaned and cleaned and cleaned my house. My hands today are cut up and dry. I found the rubber clothes AFTER I was done cleaning. I used Murphy Oil soap on all my wood floors and stairs and DR and some doors and trim that had fingerprints on them, I totally cleaned my bathroom with bleach and water, opened up the windows to air out the house, and did some general straightening up. I was wiped out when I went to bed last night.

Just when we think our life is getting on track, BAM!!!!! We get hit with a real whopper. A fire at one of our apartments. No one was killed, THANK GOD. But this has been a nightmare. It was lit by a tenant or one of his friends. Not sure if it was from a smoke or lit on purpose. It is now officially a police investigation. Two apartments were damaged, the rest have smoke damage. My brother has been very sick the last week. Fever, chills, cough, no sleep). My SIL just called, my brothers doctor called im personally (never a good sign) to tell him he wants him to come in for a skin test. They found a spot on his lung where pnemania never usually gets too. He is almost certain he has TB!!! They are understandbly freaking out! He is a teacher and a coach, and has been off for winter break all last week, so thank Goodness for that, and was too sick to go this week. ...

We have been seeing brown grass since fall. No snow but just an inch or so that would melt a day later this entire winter season. We were getting spring fever just last week. Highs of 30's, days getting longer. Then bam, we get hit with a storm on Sunday of all days. We wanted a snow day from school! It looks like we could get one tomorrow or Friday. Is actually kinda nice. I miss AI the most, but it will be one week tomorrow that DH and I have given up TV for Lent, and it has been great. We are all talking more, getting more stuff done around the house, cooking lots and reading. I read to the kids in our bed last night and fell asleep at 8:30 with them. So much for getting to my book.
