Well, as usual, my LA friends came through in abundance! I received so many wonderful things to give to Elise on Valentine's day. When I called my SIL to tell her, she cried on the phone!

I think the mailman was a bit ticked! One day I had boxes and boxes at my door. I was so excited till i realized they weren't for me!!!

Health wise, Elise is doing better...for those reading but don't know her story: She's my niece who was diagnosed with Leukemia when she was 2 (just turned 3 actually). She had a bone marrow transplant in November. She's confined to her house or the doctor's office...that's it...no stores, no friends, nothing. She went to the doctor on the 13th and her numbers are looking good. They are back on the rise, so the bone marrow transplant did work (fingers crossed/prayers continued).

I still have things that are coming in the mail for her, which is great! I'll make another run over next week sometime with load #2!!!

I put the gifts that were bought for her in individual bags (Christmas ones, but who notices?) and put all the valentines in a bag that I decorated with stickers so she could have her own just like her brother.

Here are the pics:

1.) the empty boxes!!!
2.) bag of Valentines
3.) bags of goodies from y'all out there reading this!!
4 and on....Elise, Elise, Elise!

As you can see you made one little girl very happy. I wasn't sure what kind of reaction I would get. She tires easily and has totally changed due to all the radiation (cranial and full body) she had to receive in order to have the transplant. She was so cute...one of the things that has happened as well as her changed personality is her taste buds have changed...but she said as she was going through everything and saw the chocolate: My taste buds didn't change for chocolate!! I don't think she was planning on sharing with anyone!! Her hair is starting to grow back...it's itty bitty fuzzies right now, but they are so soft!

Thanks again my friends for making one little girls day EXTREMELY special.

Okay, so I don't know how to upload pics! You can view the pics here on the LA thread!
