I made it!

I arrived at my final around 1:00 to study and she came in at 3:30 and said that if we wanted to start we could go ahead so I did and I got finished around 5:15.. I had until 5:30 but there was nothing more I could do. I did the best I could. I was pretty calm, I don't think I got a lot of the problems right but as long as I put something down I'll get points for it. If I managed to make a 50 on the test I could come out of the class with a 72 which is passing. And even ...

We decided to brave "The Magic Cave" tonight, it's usually really busy and waiting lines are really long, can be up to 2 hours!! Anyway I rang ahead to get a booking to see the big guy (it's a perk of having a child with special needs), however when we arrived, there was no line up anyway. I guess nobody realises that David Jones is open until 7pm during the week.

Anyway the kids had a great time and we got a half decent snap of them with Santa.

Well, the time has come.....my sister has arranged for the three of us (Dad, Sis & I) to get together for lunch on Saturday. I have been feeling for a while anyway that it is time to get this sorted, we are only two weeks short of a full year of no contact....that in itself is quite unbelievable.

I can't decide if the good news outweighed the bad, or the other way around.

The good news... my sisters ex, the father of her two youngest children, the abusive loser who... OMG I could go on and on... he is back in prison! He was arrested late last night after they raided his home. He wasn't there at the time the raid happened, but came home later thinking he was safe. Wrong! They were still watching the house, and busted him as he tried to sneak back in. I am SOOOOOOO happy! ...

I don't know how many here have read my sister mamabear's blog in the last day or two. But, our mom is having some additional health issues, that could potentially be quite serious.

This past Saturday, she and I met up at a store in town because she wanted me to pick out part of the Christmas gift she and dad are giving to us this year. I hadn't seen her for a few days. In just about every job that I have had I never recieved a holiday bonus. It didn't matter how hard I worked or if the business made a profit, I was never one of the employees that got a bonus. Until this year.

I am hoping that I will be able to convince DH to step into Dana's pictures on Saturday and make them family pictures. Just incase I am getting us matching shirts.

Hopefully we will have great family pics with mine and Dana's new hair cuts.

I still don't have my resulets but I am doing pretty good so far. I am trying not to rely on the pills when I feel sick even though they help. I want to try and control everything on my own (it's the stubborn in me).

I am just trying to get through the morning blues and try to make it through the day without crying. **** hormones.

Wow, where have I been? I don't know, but the days have literally flown by. I haven't felt like blogging in a long time. Which is funny, because I have had so much going on, that I would have had plenty to say...

1. I started weight watchers in October and I am down 15lbs. I still need another 30 to go, but I am in a funk right now and have not lost a pound in 3 weeks. I haven't gained any either though...

just got power back after not having it since sunday evening.

the first night we roughed it. talk about cold! then last night we crashed at my in-laws house which was wonderful.

tonight we were just starting to bed down at sil's when dh called to say that the power was back.

we lost our cherry trees and probably our bradford pear trees but our crepe myrtles seem no worse for wear.
