Chris--a good friend from high school. He died 18 years ago this coming Tuesday. Chris fought cancer (Lymphoma) on and off from the time he was 9 until he died at age 21. He NEVER complained. Last night was a Halloween Party at school at night. I was on the committee since I LOVE HALLOWEEN. It went very well. K - 2 from 5 - 6:30, 3 - 5 from 7:30 - 9:00. There was a DJ and eating donuts from a string. There was pizza and Dunkin Munchkins.

I'm so proud of DS. He really handled everything. He even did the "limbo" and danced to one or two songs. He is still trying to find a buddy that he clicks with. He has a few friends and they like him, but he stands ...

L did it again....stayed overnight at a friend's house without telling me...just left a note on the counter. This time she thought she was being smart (I call it sneaky) and she shut her bedroom door so I would think she was sound asleep in her bed. I actually thought she was home for a good while this morning until I came across the note by accident!

Two weeks into program...I've lost 4 lbs
Praying that my journey continues in the same direction.

It blows my mind. From last December, when I had lost about 10 lbs and decided to 'take a break' from WW...until going back two weeks ago (so, 9mths) ...I had gained 14 POUNDS!!
That is INSANE!! If I didn't force myself to go back and whittle away at it again...just how big would I get by January?

Just thinking about it:

4 years of college, 4 years of medical school, 3 years working in a hospital. Oh yes and then that specialist degree. 11 year plus total. Years trying to have a baby 11 years. Kind of ironic.

We had Harvest Fest at church tonight. The girls wanted to be kitty cats again. Yes, i am partial but they are just so darn cute!

Last week Friday, Chris picked up the boys from school and their teacher commented about how many kids have been getting sick in the class and that she was going to disinfect the entire room.

It took me a while to place the feeling...or more than likely I knew all along what it was and just didn't want to admit it to myself. But dear God...I am jealous. That same old bitter friend of mine, jealously. How sick am I?

Since our "situation" made the AP wire yesterday some influential people have chimed in. One a very popular alum and the other a very powerful atty- and cousin of DH. He called late last night after talking to several people about this situation.
