  1. The Waiting Game

    by , 03-21-2013 at 02:43 PM
I feel like the last 10 years of my life have belonged to the waiting game. When my husband and I first started trying to have a baby we figured (like most people) that we would be pregnant immediately. As time went on we didn't worry too much, I mean I was in my early 20's and we didn't have money for fertility treatments anyway. We went along, hoping for a miracle, but not stressing out too much. As all of our friends had children we kept waiting, until finally at 27 we decided to go to the RE. ...

  3. Fourth and final IUI cycle then its off to IVF land. I am so scared.

    by , 03-20-2013 at 11:22 AM
We have done 3 previous IUI cycles with no success, the first one however seemed doomed since my hormones were so out of whack. I was able to get pregnant 5 years ago with my daughter doing IUI so I know it can work for me but it just seems like its not taking this time. After this cycle we are considering IVF and we only have enough money to do it once, maybe twice if we get some embryo's to freeze. I am so scared of IVF and don't know what to expect. Any comments are welcome.

I'm a newcomer to the group. I had a tubal ligation in 2004. My husband and I recently have both decided that we would like to add a new addition(s) to our family. I have my first appointment at the Reproductive Center in Canfield, Ohio next week to discuss IVF and take the neccessary steps to get the ball rolling. I'm not real sure what to expect at this first visit. I'm 35yrs old and not getting any younger

    by , 03-10-2013 at 05:47 PM
I'm 26 and just went through my 2 round of IVF unsuccessfully. The first one the some how the time got messed up because there was only one egg still in its follicle and you could see on the ultra sound photo that the other follicles had already burst. They discarded that egg saying it was not worth it to continue, so I went through it again this time we got 3 eggs, all 3 fertilized, though one fertilized abnormally so that left us with 2, they wanted to skip the genetic testing and implant the ...
