I lost another pound at my weigh in this week so I've been steadily losing .5 lb per week. It is slow going, but I just keep telling myself that slow and steady wins the race

Noah Douglas G**** was born yesterday around 1:30pm. My SIL called me at 6:15am thinking her water had broken. She had lost her mucous plug on Sunday morning and had been having some pretty good back contractions. She said she felt funny and stood up out of bed and it trickled down her leg. I switched from thistle seed in my feeder. The feeder isn't really designed to hold thistle seed and a lot was wasted. Plus, the feeder had gotten very dominated by a certain large gang of brown sparrows. One afternoon I saw a chickadee out there but it got bullied off by the sparrows. I saw a bluejay get the same treatment recently. So I found a good-quality general birdseed at the local hardware store and bought two bags. I filled the feeder and waited.

There's early release today from school. Im not sure about Violets school?? She doesnt even go until noon sooo....I guess I wont be going anywhere today. Then they are supposed to go with their dad this evening from 5-8. Lately though, he is always late or rescheduling and always at the last minute. Irritating because I dont plan dinner on these days, not to mention it bums the kids out.

Our dog died a little over a month ago and we've been contemplating another dog (or two) for a while now. DH REALLY wants a yellow lab or golden retriever... I voted for lab 'cause I know who has to bathe the thing and I don't relish a soggy wet, long haired pooch in my camper all night long after a day of fishing with Daddy. I'm also not interested in purebred pups... one person/animal to PT right now is enough, thank you. I prefer an adult, already housetrained wtih basic skills.

DH surprised me and got a sitter last night so we could go to dinner. It was such a nice break! I was home with the kids yesterday and was actually needing a bed, but it was a nice surprise.

I lost 1.6 lbs!!! YAY! I really thought I gained because I pigged out on cheese curls the other day...LOL I bought them for the kids and all 3 of us sat down and ate them.

Total down: 27 pounds. Only 3 pounds away from 30 pounds. BUT I am only half way to my goal. WW goal for me is 123 pounds. I haven't been that thin since 1998! haha I had reached goal then but gained gradually over the years along with the IF drugs and the pregnancy.

Well I guess you are never meant to get ahead are you? Dh sold some stock to pay off our credit card bills and medical bills and I got a decent chunk from my refund check for school and we were going to pay off another big bill with that.. it was going to be nice to not have to worry about anything but the house, car and utility..
Dh took the car to work this morning and he just came back for break and asked me if I noticed his truck messing up on me yesterday..

Steven- drags chairs over to the kitchen sink when he sees me start the dishwater to help me.
help= dragging my rag over his head sopping wet and sucking on it ( yuck!), putting the dishes I haven't rinsed yet onto the drainer, putting the dishes I've already washed back into the dishwater. lol
