  2. Pre-Seed Review

    by , 04-27-2013 at 10:01 PM (Eve's World)
    *Warning may be TMI*

Well, I tried Pre-seed for the first time this week. For those of you who are not aware of what it is, it is a fertility friendly lubricant that can be used during BDing. It is reported that KY and other lubs can kill sperm and should not be used while TTC.

It comes it a tube with several applicators and is found at Walgreens, CVS, Target, and online (Amazon). It will run you a little over $20 at each location.

    So the ...
  3. Life Lessons from Furbabies

    by , 04-27-2013 at 06:07 PM
My furbaby has nurtured me through many hard times, including 13 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVF cycles. She taught me how to meditate and how to stay in the moment when anxiety strikes. She taught me how to stretch, how to nap, and how to enjoy... REALLY enjoy simple pleasures. I owe her so much more than I can ever repay.

I was talking with my vet on the phone about establishing a timeline cutoff for my Furbaby's nausea to stop before taking her to the emerg clinic and possibly ...
  4. Success stories with 3 day transfers.

    by , 04-15-2013 at 02:39 PM
I would love to hear your success story with your 3 day transfer. My doctor only does 3 day transfers because he says that he has not seen any significant increase in success and a greater loss when waiting for the 5 day blast.

How many cycles did you do before your BFP?
    How old were you?
How many did they put back?
    What meds were you on?
How many babies did you get pregnant with?
Any additional informationor advice you would like to give.

  5. My doctor only does 3 day transfers, should I change doctors?

    by , 04-15-2013 at 02:17 PM
I am about to begin my BCP to start my very first IVF cycle. I have been doing a lot of research on the best way to go. I had pretty much decided that the 5 day blast transfers was what I wanted to do. We are really trying to get pg with just one baby since we already have a 4 year old daughter. I was wanting to transfer back just 1 5 day blast instead of 2 3 day embies. Unfortunately for me I just found out that my clinic does not do 5 day transfers. I have not been able to talk to my doctor as ...

  8. Keeping up appearances for Hubby's sake

    by , 04-07-2013 at 07:24 AM
If any one has read my previous blog then they would know that I was undergoing my third IVF cycle treatment. I guess it was inevitable that the cycle was doom from day one when my FSH came back at 17.9 but I had some hope or vision that the figures would magically produce some eggs for me. Unfortunately that wasn't the case and that dream is still a dream. The past seven days has felt like i was sitting on a never ending roller coaster with one day feeling excited and happy and the next sad and ...

    by , 04-05-2013 at 02:19 PM
Hi, this is my 1st time posting. I am 41 and had a miscarriage after 3 I.U.I. cycles. We found out our son had trisomy 13. We had genetic testing done on both of us and we were fine. We also saw a genetic counselor and he said we only had a 2 % of recurrence. We then went through I.U.I. 5 more times. We just finished our first I.V.F. cycle. We had 25 eggs, six embryos, and then one did not make it . We got an additional 3 embryos with help. Only one of the three made it. We had a total ...
