  2. EVERYTHING is Cancer

    by , 10-25-2007 at 08:26 PM
Geez, that Oncologist was right. He said every pain, bump, sickness whatever you fell you will think that the cancer is back. He is right.
I do. Yesterday I had such back pain. Hurt to breathe. It was right through where I had the surgery, through to the back. I thought... Lung cancer. Thats it, I have melanoma of the lung. Time to take the time card and check out.
Reality hit. Did you feel this before surgery?? Ummm, no. So geez, maybe it is that? I know I have been using muscles in ...

  3. Photos of Mia's first picnic

    by , 10-25-2007 at 07:29 PM
Last Sunday, Jamie planned a picnic for us. It was a beautiful day, and we all had fun lounging around on the grass. Mia slept the whole time, but Benji enjoyed it immensely.

  4. Plain and simple

    by , 10-25-2007 at 05:49 PM

John 14:6 Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
That's about as clear as it gets... And I'm not afraid to say it.

  5. Dentists are tough on the preggo

    by , 10-25-2007 at 05:27 PM
Holding your mouth open while the hygenist picks your teeth is hard on a normal day. While prego, it was a wonder I didn't both hurl on her and drown in my own saliva.

But, no cavities for me and no ones worth filling for Brian.

And scarily enough, our next appts are 5/14 and 6/12. And I'm thinking, holy cow, we could be having a baby instead of going to the dentist.

It was just too weird to contemplate.

MIA tomorrow and Saturday. Picking ...

  6. ENT visit

    by , 10-25-2007 at 04:25 PM
C had his ENT appointment this afternoon and it went about as I expected. The resident did not seem overly impressed by 7 episodes of croup in 12 calender months but the ENT attending was. He said that 7 episodes were way to many. He wants to do a DLB/bronchoscopy of his airway to make sure there is nothing structurally wrong. It will be an outpatient procedure but will require anesthesia. Right now it is scheduled for December 4th but they will call me if they have a cancellation. I am praying ...

  7. Can i pat myself on the back?

    by , 10-25-2007 at 04:14 PM
With DH being deployed, i have to buck up and take care of a lot on my own.
The other day our bathroom fan went out. I had to search and search online for a replacement because our fan has been discontinued. I did finally find a company in Texas but was leary. I was hesitant because even though it was the same product, the model number was different and they did not accept credit cards, only checks????? Talk about being in a time warp. So i took a chance and i received a new ...

  8. Trying to shop for ME

by , 10-25-2007 at 02:58 PM (Day to Day Stuff!)
I swear, as soon as I try stuff on....my boobs look ginormous and I look like I should have a wide load sign on my a$$.

I tried on this cute dress at Old Navy. Was thinking of wearing it on the plane next week. Um, no....it was hideous on me. As were all the sweaters I also tried on there.

I tried shoes...nope. I tried shirts and skirts and pants....nope to all.

What on Earth am I going to wear next weekend in Chicago??????

  10. Christmas/Holidays

    by , 10-25-2007 at 01:06 PM
I actually have a few things purchased. I was afraid Dominic would come early and I would be visiting the nicu instead of shopping. Little bugger. He is happy where he is.

We are going to look at Train tables for Johnny for his big gift. I know both of them will eventually use it.

I also want to get some Melissa and Doug wooden food sets, lace of boards, latch puzzles and beads. We have their puzzles and like them really well.
