Unfortunately Brian had to get to work this morning for a month-end financials meeting.

I was looking forward to sleeping in and NOT having this dead hour and a half to worry myself into a frenzy.

I'm not saying he's as anxious as me, but last night Brian was vibrating in his sleep. He's done it once before recently where he sort of shakes all over in the bed and kind of rapid punches. The last time was about the same, big appt for us and controversy at work coinciding. ...

We have been talking about this girl's weekend for over a year. And at the time, November 2007 sounded so far away....but now it is here!!!

I met Liz over the summer, but this is the first time I will meet Cindy and Kathleen. How exciting! I am sure when we are together, people will just assume we are all old friends. They will never know that we really have never "met."

This week has been so crazy trying to get ready for my trip!

So many things that I haven't written about.....the kids' field trip, Halloween. There were cute things that they said, and now I have forgotten them. I hope they pop back in there.

10/31 skipped the costume playgroup at C's house this morning (for my MOM's club) as she gets freaky about sick kids but went to the Neighborhood Halloween party at S&D's house 4-6 tonight. Dh arrived home from work early (skipped his class tonight) around 5p. The party was great. It was really warm here at 4pm (around 70 degrees) so they had decorated the garage and left the door open and the kids played outside. My Mom had a CT done on her lungs and an MRI on her spine and brain today. It took over two hours and my Mom was extremely uncomfortable laying for that long. My Mom has so much pain in her back that she sleeps basically sitting up.
The tech contacted the oncologist immediately and we were summoned into his office at 1pm with the word that Mom would need to be admitted today.
My Mom has a golf ball size tumor in her spine between two discs that is no longer contained but has spread. ...

Ali is a very generous soul. When we get overrun with toys and clothing that are too small we donate to good will. Ali knows this and on more than one occasion she has told me that she has too many toys and wants to give them to someone who doesn't have any.
For her birthday, several of our relatives sent cash for her. When it came time to go buy her something she decided on her own that she wanted to buy Ephraim something too. And she did.

It hasn't even been that long since my last. This one was much worse. I spent the entire night last night throwing up. I had a little of the other today, but not a lot. I had an oddly restless night's sleep. Unremembered dreams and just up and down in the night, tossing and turning. No staring at the ceiling, just the knowledge I didn't sleep well.

with a few moms of some kids Zachary went to pre school with two years ago. I am usually painfully quiet but I tried my best to be a little more outgoing, and it felt good. They are a very nice bunch of woman that I admire and respect, and like spending time with. One is almost to the point of a divorce and I feel very bad. The other two are happily married. Please pray for my best friends family. Her dad committed suicide yesterday morning. We are all in a complete state of shock. He was an addict but just got out of rehab so we all thought he was doing better.

Her dad and mom lives in WA and they all live down here in southern CA. Her mom is all alone and we need prayers to help find at least 1 cheap airplane ticket so that the brother can fly up there, they rest will have to drive due to financial reasons.
