Not watching a moment...

of the inauguration. I am sad/scared at the results of the election but I am VERY put off by the hollywood spectical this has become. All about the stars and who will/won't perform. WHO CARES?!?! This is about the swearing in of our PRESIDENT! It diminishes the awesomeness of the process when it is handled like a carnival or concert.

Reading the biography of John Adams. A TRULY amazing man! I am so saddened that the process isn't being handled with the reverence that it deserves. Our forefathers....they suffered so for our freedom. Does this really respect the memory of what they fought so hard for?

Just feeling soooo disgusted and disappointed.

I see yourdisgust at the spectacle and raise you 10... That was a national embarrassment...NBC was gyrating today over getting to talk to the designers of Michelle's clothes as if it were the Second Coming and we were breathlessly told that the Obama girls had coats from J Crew and that the website was crashed when so many people tried to order them for their children..
