I really don't know what made me decide that today was the day, but it is! I really am bad about making notes about what the kids are doing, what the boys are saying now, etc. I've always loved keeping a diary in the past, and this is a good way too, I guess.

Today we made the gingerbread train. I was really excited about it and it turned out nicely, but the kids argued the entire time we were making it! They were fussing over who was doing what and who had put more candy on, etc. I was about ready to put it all away! Maybe we just had too busy of a weekend to tackle that today. The boys aren't napping anymore and they really show their colors in the afternoons. I should have saved it for a Saturday morning. Oh well...it still looks cute and I'm planning on taking some pics of the kids and the train in the morning before school.

DH and I are taking the day off tomorrow to finish Christmas shopping. I've got about half of my list left to do, so I told him it was going to be "commando-style"! It will be nice to get it all done.

I hope Taylor's new glasses are ready tomorrow. It's been 2 weeks and it was supposed to be about a week. I'm so impatient! The new ones are really cute. They are more of the plastic-style tortoise shell dark brown frames instead of the gold-tone metal ones she's always had. I think she'll look a lot better in these (with her skin tone). Hopefully pictures will turn out better too without all the glare of the metal! We'll see...
