Feeling down...

Posted 11-02-2009 at 12:02 PM by ohio_grl

DH called during my lunch break to give me the news that his cousin is pregnant. She is a very sweet person and she was married a year after us and I was happy to hear her good news but felt so terribly sad at that same time... then I felt guilty for not being able to feel only happiness for her blessing...

I hope this feeling of emptiness and sadness passes because it's a horrible feeling to experience.

I am with you. I feel bad that I can't be happy for my friends having babies right now... esp. the ones married after me, or the ones who are way younger, etc. But I know soon it will work, for both of us, and we'll be able to be happy for our friends and family in their births!

    Much love,
    heather
