Makes it so much easier! I have such a long way to go that if I don't celebrate the small steps I would never celebrate! So with that said...

I have lost 20lbs!!!

I am down a total of 17 lbs so far. I am pretty happy about that. Some days I get really frustrated because it seems so slow, but then other days I remember slow is a lifestyle change...Hopefully the habits I am developing will stick!

Tanner was 40" and 35lbs at his 4 year visit. Fluid behind his left ear but no biggie. Urine and blood work, good. Blood pressure good.

Our schools will be closed now on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday to allow the state to use all possible resources for evacuations and shelters. Hope the daycare doesn't decide it wants to close too! I will have to work on Tuesday and Wednesday so I kind of need childcare!

Also, please spare a prayer for our family as BIL ships out to Iraq on Wednesday as well. DH dodged this deployment.

another 3 lb loss! I am really excited about my losses. I just hope that when they start to dwindle I don't get totally discouraged!

For now, I'm totally happy...8 lbs total in the last 3 weeks!

Despite my calorie explosive fried shrimp meal (celebrating my lil sis' b-day) I still managed to lose 1 pound this week! I saved my bonus points for that meal. I am now back on track. Feeling good!

I am learning that what you eat really does affect you. I have not been lingering in bed in the mornings. I actually feel more rested since I started really paying attention to what I am eating and how much I am eating. I can still go to bed after midnight, but instead of ...

It is time for some personal accountability. I'm fat...no ones fault but my own, really. As of last Wednesday, I have had enough and there are no more excuses for me. The loss of my Mom was over 2 yrs ago...no longer an excuse! My ankle surgery was 2 years ago in September...no longer an excuse! I quit smoking 1 year ago October 5th...no longer an excuse!

I do this to myself before each and every vacation...no matter how big or small...I have SOOOO much to do! Why am I here, you might ask...I don't rightfully know! I guess winding down from work so that I can kick it into high gear tonight! We are heading to the great state of Florida for about 10 days. Gonna meet Mickey and friends. Going to the coast...east that is and I guess we'll hit the Gulf coast on the way there or back.
