I don't know why, but I just feel so out of place.

I try really hard, but just don't seem to have many friends - 2 to be exact.

I have 2 really close friends IRL - my best friend that moved from Louisiana to Montana last year when she got married and another very close friend that I work with.

I have tried to build relationships here, but I always feel as though I am intruding on everyone. I guess I am feeling sorry for myself and I need to stop. I just am so lonely! DH works nights and we only see each other on the weekends. The silver lining in my dark cloud...my children! They keep me smiling and I am so blessed to have them. I need to get over it and suck it up...

I don't know why I wrote all of this. I guess I needed to release.

I remember that feeling--hang in there. It will get better.

Are you in LA? My parents are in SW La.

I too remember feeling that way too. Sometimes I still do. That's why I'm on FT so much. It helps me just keep in touch with the "outside world"

I've become more involved at church. I attended a small group bible study and I volunteered for vacation bible school. That really helped. I met so many nice people that accept me how I am right now today and welcome me in the circle any time. Like I'm valued. It's so important.

I hope you feel better soon and find your niche...
