our class rank is out and i am majorly celebrating!!

i know who is number 1 and he is one of those obscenely smart guys who just gets it without having to work hard for it. so i will settle for 2 behind him while i work my butt off with 3 kiddos .

i was in no way shape or forum going to be ready july 2nd...so i rescheduled for aug 14th...let the new countdown begin!!

i finished my last final today for the quarter....one year down!!
so much has happened this past year, i feel like a completely different person then i did at the start.
yet somehow i have made it through. i have succeeded where others thought i would fail. i have made it, i was not one of the three classmates we lost along the way...i am still fighting for my dream...i am still hanging in there.

or as dory would say "just keep swimming"

of course this was after about 4 cups of coffee, but hey mommy won!

s has had typical migraine like symptoms for quiet some time. she gets absolutely horrid headaches, accompanied with nausea, light sensitivity and sound sensitivity.
she woke up this morning at 5 and came in saying she felt sick to her stomach and had a horrid headache. i gave her some motrin and that seemed to help her.
i was going to ask the pedi about whether or not they feel she may suffer from migraines, how we would get her dx'ed and how we would tx? i do not know that ...

lit review is due on friday by 5pm, i am doing my second edit now...or at least trying to do my second edit now.
what happens? little miss gets cranky. as in i need to be on top of you, i will scream if you put the paper you are trying to cite from next to you, demand something new every five seconds, wanting to hug you every 3 seconds clingy cranky.

when something really needs to get done...it will be inevitable that a child will get clingy

why?
well it is quite simple. i volunteer in the er....in the er if someone so much as mentions one of these words it usually means one of two things....
1. numerous ambulances/major trauma soon to be headed our way
2. everybody and their brother decides it time to go to the er and get that scratchy throat/nagging ...

back to work on secondary essays and the dreaded question of explaining my past and history at siu has come up again. this year i am changing my approach in my answer, i will include more of the details that were the school's responsibility that i have since found out from numerous sources should have been done but were not. i honestly feel that while i know i bear the majority of the blame for my failing grades that they also shoulder some of that blame through their inactions.
